Vant forrige utfordring hos ADFD ~ så jeg er kjempelykkelig fordi det betyr flere nye digis på meg :) Som jeg har sagt tidligere på bloggen ~ får aldri nok av disse nydelige stemplene! ♥

Happy today! ♥ Won the previous challenge over at ADFD ~ wich means more beautiful digistamps for me :) My card today was quick to do ~ I already had a cute stamp inked up & paperpieced, all ready to glitter & glam up on a card!

A great tip is to diecut the cardstock u use for the card itself, and use 

the diecut two ways ~ one on the front of the card, and when u layer and

decorate the card u get a neat frame on the inside of the card as well :)

Måtte leite frem embossingpulver, luftpistol, skalpell og skjærematte for dette kortet ~ leenge siden sist jeg brukte disse verktøyene! Spellbinders'ene har visst tatt helt over ;) Det ble så utrolig lekkert med varm-embossing så jeg sløyfet å pynte kortet noe mere!

A 'Clean & Simple' card this time ~ didn't think it was neccessary with more bling than that gorgeous heat embossing! A tool I have neglected too much, as well as my scalpel for those bigger frames ~ been relying on the spellbinders too much lately I think ;)

a Gothic Wedding

Hva i all verden gjør man når man finner dette på scrappebordet? Jeg hadde malt opp dette digitale stemplet, og det lå i noen dager på bordet før jeg skulle lage dette kortet... Gjett om jeg føyk i taket da jeg så hva som hadde skjedd! Og ropte høyt navnet på den skyldige - ARIEL! ... Og lillesnuppas svar var; Æ skulle bare gjøre det enda finere for dæ tante!

Hmmm... Hvordan reagerer man på et slikt svar? Jeg kunne ikke si at hennes kråketær - som hun er VELDIG stolt av (begynner i 2 klassen til høsten) er noe jeg absolutt ikke ser på som en forbedring av det jeg lager... Hehe, men hun lovte iallefall å aldri tegne på mine ting mer ;)
Hun pleier å sitte på andre siden av bordet å male sammen med meg når hun er på besøk, stempler alltid opp litt ekstra på helt vanlig papir så jeg ikke sløser med akvarellarkene - og kjøleskapet er fullt av hennes kunstverk ♥


Men tilbake til kortet - som dere ser så fikk jeg reparert/dekt over krusedullene, men jeg ble bare sånn passe fornøyd alikevel - ettersom jeg hadde hatt planer om en annen layout.. Men niesen min blir iallefall til å huske at hennes fine bokstaver ikke passer på tante sine kort :)

My niece was the responsible artist of the doodle text u see on the top pic, then when I very angrily asked what the meaning of it was, she innocently replied - I just wanted to make it look even nicer for you, auntie! What can one say to that?? But she will not (probably) do it again *lol* She likes to sit and paint with me, so I stamp extra motifs on plain paper for her (not to waste my watercolor-sheets) and my fridge is full of her art :)
I was going to throw it away, but decided to see what i could do with it first. And luckily I was able to repair & cover up the doodles on the motif, but I'm not entirely happy with it as the layout wasn't was I had planned. However, a lesson learned for both aunt & niece! ;)

And my top tip is to just to try and repair the motif before chucking it in the bin - if an accident (or a deliberate crime!) happens to your creations ;)

Elvis ~ Still going Strong!

Kort O' Mania sin utfordring #41. er monokromatisk - scrap i 1 farge! Så det ble Elvis med gyldne brun toner :) Legger dette også inn til utfordringen hos the StampSmith #15. Bursdagstema.
The scandinavian blog Kort O' Mania challenge us to make something in monochromatic colors for #41.. So I've made a clean & simple Elvis card with shades of brown ♫ This goes in to the Stamp Smith challenge also, wich is #15. Birthday theme ~ so I show off the back of the card too, as it was a BD card for a guy, but the front doesn't give that impression ~ just a rockin' Elvis :)

Square Bookmarks!

Ett Trykk ~ Trykkpressa's mai utfordring er å lage bokmerker! og jeg så engang en youtube film hvor noen lagde slike fine firkantede bokmerker - flere år siden så jeg finner ikke den igjen :( Men jeg hadde noen jeg lagde da, som jeg kunne åpne (veeldig forsiktig) og se hvordan de skal brettes!
Ble ikke bare med ett som dere ser.. Veldig enkle å lage om man bruker scor-pal, men de er ikke fullt så enkle som de lignende bokmerkene jeg ser at Alice på WOJ bloggen har laget ;) Om man ikke har tenkt å lime ekstra ark oa. pynt på bokmerket så blir den bretteteknikken jeg har brukt veldig dekorativ! Har laget en liten tutorial jeg håper er forståelig!
Loads of bookmarks for the month of may challenge at the norwegian magazine blog Ett Trykk. Some years ago I watched a youtube video of someone making this kind of square bookmark - it's not the same technique as recently shown by Alice on the WOJ blog here - that one is more easy to do, and will work best if you're going to have a stamped motif on another paper glued on the bookmark, because it's more flat when finished folding.
If however, you like to make things difficult for yourself (as me *lol*) you should try theese out! I have reconstructed how I made the bookmark from the video - and created some new ones, along with a little tutorial I hope you can make sense of! :)

Mosaic L♥ve

StampARTic's Artsy challenge i sommer er å lage et 'Mosaik kort med papir, som du selv har fremstillet enten med sværte, stempler, maling eller noget helt andet'. Fikk nettopp et stilig bakgrunnstempel fra CHF som passet perfekt! Og så fikk jeg endelig brukt et av de flotte Hero Arts Stemplene jeg fikk i bloggcandy hos Sir Stampalot's utfordringsblogg :)
The Artsy summerchallenge at StampARTic is 'to make a Mosaic card with paper you have made your self. Either with ink, stamps, paint or something else'. I had lots of fun with this! And I got to use the gorgeous ♥ backgroundstamp from CHF, and also one of the cool Hero Arts stamps I received in the secret goodiebag candy on Sir Stampalot's challenge blog :)

Utfordringen hos Dutch Dare Card #83. er 'hva som helst!', så jeg har laget to elvis presley kort! :) Det er så synd at Cornish Heritage Stamps butikken stenger - jeg har kjøpt disse og de nydelige Friendly Critters stemplene mine der! ♥


The challenge at Dutch Dare Card is #83.'Anything Goes', so I've made a couple of Elvis cards - and I'm very sad to see the Cornish Heritage Stamp store close - they have been my supplier of theese and friendly critters stamps ♥ I've sent in my last order, and I was lucky enough to get some of the stamps I've 'needed' in my collection. But what now? Where to get theese lines in the future? And what about the forums - will they dissapear? :( I so hope that the shop including the Elvis, critters, Kinkade etc. will be bought up and continued! Best wishes for Richard & Liz in their future endeavours. Have always received great service from them :)

Vintage with Flowers er utfordringen til Simon Says bloggen denne uka - og dette er vel både blomstrende og vintage :) Har lagd flere kort med samme motiv - et av mine favoritt stempler fra Ett Trykk!

Tv-series, T-shirts & Pretty boxes!

I julegave til meg selv bestillte jeg gaven over alle gaver.. Buffy og Roswell - helt komplett serie dvd boxer! :) Og de kom rett på døren for en uke siden fra amazon.co.uk! Har allerede komplett Farscape, X-files, Charmed og Angel, og nå skal jeg bare fylle på med noen til av Futurama, så har jeg (nesten) alle mine favoritt serier! Dr. Who og Torchwood står også høyt lista over serier jeg kommer til å skaffe meg etterhvert.. med flere! *hehe*

Tror jeg traff blink med de fleste julegavene iallefall, som en guitar hero t-skjorte til lillebror som er hekta på det. Har kjøpt mange t-skjorter på Play.com til andre i gave

Men for de små julegavene så er en pen eske man har scrappet selv bedre å få enn ett julekort! Og mye billigere ;) Her er noen av eskene jeg har laget. Har ingen mal, bare prøver meg frem. Så ofte ender jeg opp med lokk eller bunner som ikke passer (blir for løse), men da lager jeg bare enda flere *hehe*

As a xmas present for myself I got the whole series of Buffy and Roswell DVD's! They arrived a week ago on the door, straight from Amazon.co.uk, so since then it's been a Buffy marathon *lol* I love sci-fi, fantasy & horror tv-series. Can't get enough! It's the theme for me in books and movies to ofcourse, and I'm a Twi-fan as everyone else, except not as obsessed as many.. ;) Angel is and will always be my first choice of vamp :) I already have the whole Angel series on dvd, as well as many other faves like: Farscape, Charmed, X-files and more. Right now I'm collecting on Futurama - funniest cartoon show ever!!! And next on the list to get is Dr.Who & Torchwood!
Last year I didn't only get cool xmas pressies for myself, Play.com is a great source for great gifts - just LOVE their T-shirts, as you can see on the top pic, that's all mine!

For the smaller presents a nice box to give them away in is a nice touch - and you can even just give the box it self, wich is a real cheap but appreciated gift! Theese are some I've made, without a template - just trial and error.. Wich I had a lot of! Did get many box tops and bottoms that didn't fit eachother, but I just made some more, and lucked out! But there are many templates to find online I'm sure, I just wanted to try and make my own:) Sometime in the near future I'm gonna get myself a scor-pal, and then I'll make tons of boxes real easy!

They're real cool to make, and to give away instead of a card - just put a sentiment on the inside, or if the box is for someone else to give away, I add a note they can write on with tape on the back so they can attatch inside. It would be extremely difficult to write inside the lid ;)

Happy New Year 2010!!!

Et riktig godt nytt år alle sammen!!! En hektisk mnd. er over for de aller fleste - er glad jeg slipper unna meste julekaoset siden jeg ikke har barn. Jeg har bare en pusekatt som er så livredd nyttårsraketter at jeg måtte sitte i et par timer med ham på fanget - inntullet i et pledd! 'Beibien' min.. *lol* :)
Det har vært litt tungt de siste mnd. etter at pappa døde, han fyllte opp så mye tid, at det virker nesten tomt i huset nå, med bare meg og moren min. Så vi har planer om å flytte - kansje iløpet av det nye året :) Isåfall skal jeg innrede verdens beste scrappe-rom!!! Har sett utrolig mye flotte løsninger både på scrapping.no og på twoPeas gallery > Scrap rooms > slik som DETTE helt fantastiske rommet! *sukk* Skal definitivt ha meg en slik vegg å henge ting på :)

I slutten av januar skal jeg og moren min til Thailand sammen med storebror og niesen min - Det blir helt herlig!!! Har ikke kunnet slappe av eller gjøre som vi vil på tur - siden hmmm... aldri? Først hadde vi Siljesnuppa vår boende, så kom bestefar og når han gikk bort, så var altzheimer'n til pappa allerede blitt for ille til å ha mer glede enn stress ut av feriene. Skal sørge for å ta med stempeltrykk og alt av male-remedier, så kommer det masser nye kort fra meg på nyåret!!
I denne posten er det derimot mange 'gamle' kort - som bare har blitt liggende på pc'n og ventet på å bli blogget om. Bare klikk på bildene for å få opp en større utgave ;)




Happy New Year everyone!!! Hoping you've had a wonderful Christmas :) December was pretty hectic for most I'm sure, but I don't have any kids so I didn't stress much. However on newyears eve I sat with my cat Tamlin bundled up in a blanket oon my lap - for almost two hours!! He's afraid that the rockets will get him I think *lol* All panic, but safe inside the blanket :)

The last months has been heavy emotionally since my dad died, but me and my mum are coping good now, and soon we're off to Thailand for a much needed vacation! My eldest brother Pit, and my little niece Ariel are going with us. I'm taking with me lots of stampmotifs and my aquarelle paints, so I will have lots to create when I get home! January 24th is the date & three weeks in paradise :)

Our house is now too big for just me and my mum, so sometime this year we'll move into a new home, close to my uncle and his family. And he live in the house he and my mum grew up in, so she'll feel right at home!!! And the view there is gorgeous, all mountains and the sea below! My mind is already occupied finding solutions for my new scrap-room!!! Ikea will be my ruin I fear - there is so much great stuff to buy ;) And I've been browsing through the twoPeas gallery > Scrap rooms > and found awesome scraprooms like this one! *I wish*

Kjøpte nylig noen ny-delige stempler fra Motivet; Doraline med marihøne/nyckelpiga, og James og ShyBear (Artful Stamper). Recently I bought some gorgeous stamps from Motivet, Doraline with ladybug, and James & ShyBear (Artful Stamper) - wich I'm so looking forward to play with!! Stamps/Image: Motivet - Doraline with ladybug, Cornish Heritage Farms - Distressed cicles scrapblock stamp, Magnolia - BakgrundsSwirl Bröllup.
Paper: Bazzill cardstock. My Minds Eye - Tres Jolie - mon cheri 'baby' girl: Floral / Corail paper. And I used H2O - copper shimmer mist, to make the paper under the stamp-motif.
Embellishments:Bling it Rhinestones from Basic Grey. My Minds Eye - Tres Jolie - mon cheri 'baby' girl french borders (text sticker). Spellbinder Nestabilities Labels One used to cut the stamp-motif. And some ladybugstickers and a QK-bow RS-0118. Plus lots of Cats-eye-inking, dark brown is my fave :)
