Essentials/Adhesives: Double sided tape. High-Tack Double Sided Red Tape (Red Liner/Stix2/Miracle tape). Signo Uniball white pigment ink pen.

Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Hero Arts - white 'Hero Hues unicorn' pigment inkpad. I used Core'dinations sandit gadget to sand down some of the edges.

My very blingy & pink DT inspiration for this months challenge at PapirPlaneten is a confirmation easel card. The main motif I cannot show as it is a photo of the girl confirmand as a baby, so I censored it :)

A Pirate's Life for me...

Jeg befinner meg i vakre Lofoten for tiden, på Hammerstad Camping sammen med familien min ~ og det har vært alltfor lite tid til blogging og kort.. Men jeg hadde jo noen DT prosjekter klare ;)

I got a question on how to get this kind of background: you cover up the image with a postit, then after distressing around it, use the 'flicking-water-with-your-fingers' technique - or a spray/mister. I had some ink on my craftsheet wich I picked up droplets of and flicked on it as well. You can watch many 'spritz & flick' technique videos on youtube, this is one about 6+min. in: Ranger Inks video with Tim Holtz also here with Dixie Cravens Basic blending techniques n flickin water spots - The results are pretty cool!

Design Seeds er et kjempeflott verktøy for å finne farger som passer sammen på et kort ~ det er tilogmed mulig å koordinere i forhold til motivet du har valgt! Har ofte klikket meg inn på bloggen for å få litt inspirasjon :) 

I love the Design Seeds blog! It's a great tool to find colors that match and coordinate the color choices from a chosen motif ~ have often visited just to find some inspiration! :)
