Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. And my distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use! ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Glossy accents.

for en dårlig fantasi jeg har! Jeg brukte et par timer på å finne på en tekst til dette stempeltrykket! Hadde ikkeno tekst stempel som passet, så jeg måtte skrive noe selv.. Og kortet kunne liksom ikke være hva som helst - siden det er for en RAK på bloggen Stamped Art by Lisa ~ til Lisa's syke søster - dermed morsomt og lett i tonen... OG en frosk! Tror jeg fikk det bra til?

Update: June 13th. I got an email from Lisa saying I won the Paperworks Co. Christmas Collection of stamps in this RAK for her sister Jayme. I am just happy she got so many sweet froggie cards! :)

SuperDad!

Jeg har litt smånerver for tiden - og lager kort på spreng, fordi det bare er en uke til jeg skal på Håndtverksdagene på Melbu (Hadsel), 14. og 15 November - og jeg skal ha en liten salgbod der med kortene mine ++ litt papirhobby småtterier :) Blir kjempespennende! Og første gangen jeg har sittet på 'utstilling', vært mest familie og venner, og venners venner som har kjøpt kortene mine til nå..
Håper bare jeg har lagd opp nok til da. Det var jo meningen at jeg skulle bruke disse mnd. etter sommeren til det, men så ble jo pappa syk og ble lite tid til hobby.. Og med begravelsen og greier.. så det ble først nå at jeg har fått opp produksjonen. Heldigvis har jeg en masse kort og ting som ikke er solgt, så det går nok fint *krysser fingrer* :)

Pappa ville elsket å få dette kortet - han likte Fantomet, Tarzan og Supermann, og når jeg var liten så var han jo min SuperPappa :)

Utfordringen hos Cute Card Thursday #85. denne gang, er å bruke primærfargene: Rød, blå og Gul. Det er ganske sterke farger og ikke så ofte jeg bruker dem - går jo mest i myke jordfarger, vintage-type kort, men primærfarger passer kjempegodt til gutte-kort eller til menn har jeg funnet ut!

A little exited theese days, and nervous 'cause I'm going to have a stand with my cards n stuff, at Melbu Crafts Christmas-Fair on the 14th & 15th of November. This will be my first try at such an event so wish me good luck! :)

Cute Card Thursdays challenge this time is #85. Primary Colours: Red, Blue & Yellow. Not the typical colors I like using, but perfect for a boy or male-type card :) And in light of fathersday, this is one for all the dads...
As a kid my dad was SuperDad, - very strong and he wrestled with crocodiles to save mum (very good with the tall tales my dad *lol*), and he loved reading the cartoon 'the Phantom', and I remember watching the Superman-movies with him when I was little - So he would have loved getting this! :)

Stamps/Image: Eat Cake Graphics 'Mr.Billingsworth' (The 'S' on his chest is drawn on). Kreativ Hobby ticket stamp 'Journaling linjer' (handwritten txt= 'Superdad'). And I also used a Magnolia stamp 'flames' under the superman-image.
Paper: Cherry Arte 'Arcade - Alien invasion'. From the BAM POP! volume 2 coll. a frame + yellow paper. The red dotted paper is from Panduro Design.
Embellishments: The image pops out with 3D-squares, wich doesn't show in the scan.

Main Squeeze! A spoon full of sugar :)

Ble til at jeg lagde to kort til den flotte skissa fra A spoon full of Sugar challengen #9. Funderte lenge på hvordan jeg skulle løse det med ovalen, ettersom jeg ikke hadde noen diecutter-ovaler.. og det er ikke akkurat enkelt å tegne en for hånd.. Men jeg hadde et blomsterstempel med oval ramme så jeg stemplet, klippet ut og brukte det som sjablong! Smart ikke sant? :)
Basic Grey Infuse-arkene passet perfekt til fargene på stempeltrykkene, som er fra hÄnglar og stÄnglar, og 'Main Squeeze' fra Eat Cake Graphics.

I made two similar cards for the A spoon full of Sugar challenge #9. It was such a great sketch so I could'nt stop myself *lol* The Basic Grey 'Infuse' line, was perfect for the colored motifs, wich is from hÄnglar og stÄnglar, and 'Main Squeeze' from Eat Cake Graphics.
