Papirplanetens utfordring #19. ~ for juli mnd. har 'Maritimt ~ bruk puncher og/eller dies' som tema. Rammen på forsiden har jeg lagd selv, tegnet opp en øy-lignende form med blyant først og så skar jeg ut med skalpell på en selvhelende matte.

I have made a pirate themed card as my DT-inspiration for this months challenge at PapirPlaneten, an norwegian challengeblog and craft shoppe. Our theme for july is 'Maritime'. You are more than welcome to join with your creations, but the main prize is only shipped within Norway ♥ 
The island shaped frame I have drawn randomly with a pencil and cut out with a scalpel on top of a selfhealing mat.

Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Prima Marketing designs 'Almanac' A4 Paper stack. Karen Foster designs 'Pirate collage'. Pion Design 'Shoreline treasures - Botton of the sea' 6x6 designer paper.
Embellishments/Tools: Kaisercraft Selvklebende diamanter '776 - Bronze'. Creative Expressions 'cream' selfadhesive pearls. DoCrafts PaperMania 'gold' shimmer dome stickers, and adhesive 'silver rhinestones. Spellbinders™ Nestabilities Grand Dies 'Labels One'. 

Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Rangers Glossy accents.

Følger på med nok et blå-grønt kort! Hadde så mye flott stæsj som stod i stil med disse fargene liggende klart på scrappe-bordet, så det ble noen kort med sterke farger ja! I'm really on a roll with the greens and blues!!! Had rummaged through my scrap-room for hours for the previous cards I made, so my desk was full of papers and embellies in lovely bright colors, seemed a shame to put them all away before playing some more with the brighter spectrum of my T.Holtz distress inks! ;)

Techniques: Most often I use Aquarelle paper from Canson Montval (200 g/m coldpressed). I use my Twinkling H2o's and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads n markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. I used a punchinella for a mask, and my new Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tools. And also the Distress Marker Spritzer! It creates a cool airbrush effect on your project, and also comes in handy to dispel water every-wich-way! Take a look here on You-tube for lots of videos on this handy tool, and here Scrap-Time has a demo from Tim on the mini blending tools.. It's just... AWESOME! No harshly squared lines! :)

AuroraWings Rose Fairy in Green & Blue!

Vanligvis er det vintage & de myke jordfargene som gir meg inspirasjon, men i det siste har jeg fått dilla på Tim's nydelige grønne og blå distress inks ~ peacock feather, mowed lawn, salty ocean, evergreen bough (fra sesong fargene). Har brukt disse og noen flere + mine twinkeling H2o's for å få litt glans ~ alle feer må jo ha litt glitter!  :)

Usually it is the vintage & soft earthy tones that gives me inspiration to color and craft. But lately I've been having tons of fun playing with Tim's gorgeous green & blue distress inks from the seasonal packs ~ peacock feather, mowed lawn, salty ocean, evergreen bough. 
I've used theese to ink up my image n card, as well as other distress inks & my twinkeling H2o's to add some sparkle... All fairies need some glitter right?! :)

The star embellishment is unknown - this I added a drop of Ranger Alcohol ink 'Meadow' on. I used Twinkling H2o's and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads n markers to watercolor and distress image and papers.

a Splenda Box!

Scrappekammeret's utfordring #4 er Alternative Scrappesaker: å grave frem noe man ikke vanligvis bruker, og vri hjernen til noe kreativt kommer ut! Hehe.. Jeg lette ikke lenge da jeg skulle gi bort en gave til en av mine brødre - og puttet den i en tom Splenda boks som jeg dekorerte litt. Den kan han jo senere putte spiker, skruer og andre gutteting oppi! :)


The norwegian challengeblog Scrappekammeret had this alternative theme - to use something real original, and something u rarely use. And I rarely scrap empty house supplies boxes! This was a gift for my brother - to keep those boy-things like odd screws & rusted nails in :)

4 purple Penny Black cards!

Når jeg lager kort lager jeg gjerne 'en serie' kort - som med disse. Du lager kort mye kjappere på den måten, siden du har fargevalg og stempeltrykk klare :)

Har brukt Karen Foster mønsterark og bazzill kartong. Stemplet er Penny Black - 'bouncing with joy', på en akvarell bakgrunn malt i blå- lilla- og rosa toner.

Sometimes when I make cards I make similar ones, since I already got the paper & stamp-motifs all matched :) Theese are made with Karen Foster and Bazzill paper. And the stamp motif is Penny Black - 'bouncing with joy', on aquarelle paper painted in blue, purple & pink. The frame is made with Spellbinder Nestabilities - Oval Classic Scallop Large. And I've used several different corner-punches, I just love my punches!!!
