Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Panduro Hobby & Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Panduro Designerpapers 12x12 paperpad 362989.
Embellishments: Notabene gull gavebånd (gold paper glitter ribbon). DoCrafts PaperMania 'Gold shimmer dome stickers'.
 

Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score & fold my cards. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: Crafters Companion 'Decorative Heart' 6x6 Embossalicious Embossingfolder.
Dies: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities die 'Label One'. Sizzix thinlits die by Tim Holtz 'Nordic Winter 664199'. I used the square frame only from the Card Making Magic Die Set 'Quatrefoil Trellis' 6x6 Christina Griffiths.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. 3D foam/mosegummi.

Techniques/Mediums: I used theese Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & Distress Stains to watercolor the owl image. I just dab a bit of ink on my Tim Holtz Tonic Studios mixed media mat ~ pick up ink with paintbrush + water. My favourite way to color images :)

But we will have the last winners of this year in a week, as well as our now annual inspirational christmas blogpost on the 25th. Then we'll start up again in the new year with new challenges. Magic Iris Cards!

 

Har enda ingen god stol til scrapperommet, og har ikke kunnet lage noe på kjempelenge... men jeg hadde heldigvis disse to jeg ikke har blogget enda :) Lagde dem med en 'magisk' åpne/lukke mekanisme dies for en tid tilbake. Penny Black kortet har ikke blitt vist frem online før, (Gorjuss kortet var til Scrappesykens onlinetreff i midten av oktober) så det er min DT inspirasjon denne gang for Creative Fingers #198.

I still don't have a good chair for my craftroom, and haven't been able to create anything for sooo long now... so its just lucky I still had not blogged theese! :) Made two fun 'magic iris' cards a while back, and since the Penny Black cat has not been shown online before, it is my DT card for this fortnights challenge #192. at Creative Fingers.

Lucky Troll Christmas card!

 

Vært lenge siden siste bloggpost nå fra meg, har ikke vært så mye scrapping etter at 'bestemorstolen' min (arvet en ergonomisk arbeidsstol fra ho bestemor) fikk en knekk i rammen under setet og må sveises! Broren min tok den med seg for reparering for noen uker siden og imellomtiden har jeg bare en stol som ikke er bra for ryggen min :( Har lett etter noe lignende men finner ingen som er like god å sitte på, bortsett fra et par som koster like mye som en pent brukt bil! .. Så jeg håper på at gostolen min kan fikses ♥

It's been quite a while since my previous blogpost, as there has not been much scraptime for me since my 'grandma-chair' (inherited from my grandma an ergonomic workchair) broke in the frame under the seat and has to get welded. My brother took it away to be repaired some weeks ago and meanwhile I only have a really bad for my back chair to use :( Been searching for something as good to buy, but found nothing aside from a few thats as expensive as a small used car! .. So I'm hoping my good chair will be able to get fixed ♥

The supersweet troll motif from Bugaboo I used on my DT card I have had for a long time now and been wanting to use for a fun christmas card. Finally colored her up! She reminds me of those cute lucky troll dolls we had back in the 70s-80s! Did you have one? Mine had crazy rainbowcolored hair and was attached to my school backpack. Thinking I need to make a rainbowcolored troll non-christmas card sometime too! :)

Nostalgia Mermaid

Er litt på etterskudd med kortet mitt på grunn av en langvarig migrene, og bildene ble tatt litt slurvete så jeg fikk ikke helt frem at det er utrolig mye shimmer i fargene! Prøv og se for deg at den gulfargete bakgrunnen egentlig er gull, og det er shimmer i alt 😊 Kortet er DT bidrag hos Creative Fingers #195., og det nydelige motivet er fra vår sponsor Ching-Chou Kuik. 

Jeg har brukt et gummistempel fra Sweet Pea Stamps som ikke eksisterer lengre, men man kan kjøpe det som digistempel fra etsy shoppen hennes her! Som alltid har vi et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema, og velkommen skal du være ❤️

 

I'm a day behind with my DT card for this fortnights challenge #195. at Creative Fingers, as I've had a longlasting migraine.. My photos were a bit off too, so just imagine that the yellow actually is a bright shiny gold and everything is all shimmery 😊

The gorgeous motif is from our sponsor Ching-Chou Kuik. I used a rubberstamp called 'Nostalgia' from the discontinued CCK collection at Sweet Pea Stamps, but it is now available in her digistore on etsy as part of a collection of four images, wich you can find here! I needed the mermaids tail to be a little longer than the original image to fit my die frame so I doodled a little bit with a Pigma black felt tip micron marker pen.

Broren min har satt opp flere hyller til meg, så jeg har ryddet på scrapperommet og sortert dieser og greier ~ så nå blir det SÅ mye lettere å finne ting! Tenk det! 🤣 Noen gamle 🛸 QK dieser har gjort et comeback på kortet mitt denne gang!

Sand-it-gadget to the edges of my 'moon' to get a white edge. I used a DYMO-tape tool for my text. I used my TH Sizzix craft pick a LOT, that starry background didn't release it's 'holes' when I cut it, so the tool was super helpful in getting those out!
