I love making easel-cards, especially for events like confirmation, baptism or weddings. They always go over very well with the recipients and the people at the party ~ and is a nice decoration piece on the table where all the cards n gifts are displayed :)
The pink, grey & silver combo is a pretty one, wich I really liked alot. Thinking of doing more cards with theese colors! My confirmation easel-card is my DT creation for this fortnights challenge #159. at Creative Fingers. We're kindly sponsored by our Angelique this time, and as always it is an 'Anything goes theme'. You are more than welcome to join with your creations ♥

Attention please, challenge moderators/commenters: my card was made quite a long time ago, but has never been shown online. Forgot about it (as some time had to pass before showing it so the recipient would not see it..) and I only found and edited the photos now. So in that sense I regard it as still 'new' ~ but I will understand if you think it disqualifes my entry ~ if so just skip it :)

Made my bow with the Bow-easy-tool I L♥VE that thing!
See a video tutorial by Kraftin' Kimmie here :)
Stamps/Images: Kort & Godt stamp sets 'S-142' & 'M-143'. Scrappers Choice CS 'Konfirmasjon'.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Pion Design 'Grey I' designerpaper. American Trad. Designs - Elegant Wedding coll. 'Gray floral & hearts'. Best Creation inc. Silver Glitter cardstock. Panduro Hobby 12x12 paperpad 'Circus'.
Embellishments: Pink ribbon from Whiff of Joy.
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. Bow-easy-tool.
Embossingfolders: Simply Cards & Papercraft #161. 'Elegant occasions'. Crafters Companion Embossalicious 'Seasonal Music'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. Gluedots. Scor-pal Sookwang Double sided tape. High-Tack Double Sided Red Tape (Red Liner/Stix2/Miracle tape).
Techniques/Mediums: I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad 'hickory smoke' to distress image and papers. It doesn't show very well in the photos, but I stamped the girl stamp inside the card with the grey ink, then heat embossed with a Versamark inkpad, a heat gun tool & clear embossingpowder from Ranger.
The easel card is simply scored in half twice, once to make a folded card, then a second time on the middle of the front flap. I diecut the stand-up helpers two thirds of the way down on the second cover of the card. A formula that has worked well for all my easel-cards, either with stand-up helper dies like here, or with a barrier like flowers or other 3D elements to keep the easel in a locked position.
