Nautical Confirmation ⚓ invitations

Hovedmotivet på disse er en tegning lagd av konfirmanten selv, av båten til familien! Så utrolig flink med blyanten 😊 I mai hadde søskenbarnet mitt konfirmasjon, og jeg fikk oppgaven med å lage bordkort, invitasjoner og takkekort. Lagde også en gave tag med papir restene! Viser frem invitasjonene her idag, og takkekortene kommer så snart jeg blir ferdig med dem .. litt på etterskudd der! Dårlig helse og sånt... 🙁

My cousins confirmation was in may, and the main motif used is actually a pencildrawing he made of their boat! He is so amazingly skilled 😊
I got the task of making tablecards, invitations and thank you cards. I also made a gift tag from the paperscraps! Showing the invitations here today, and the thank you cards will appear on the blog too, as soon as i am done with them that is .. running a bit behind in all things! Bad health and all that ...🙁

Dies: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Curved Rectangles S5006'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. Bonefolder. High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. The Misti stampingtool was my very best friend doing all theese cards!!!
Techniques/Mediums: I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to distress image and papers. To make the 'seafoam' effect, I used white gesso and Viva Decor 'platinum' wax, and a stipple foam tool.

then stuck down on adhesive to make a

I used a rectangle die to cut out a tag and then ran it thru my bigshot with an embossingfolder. Platina inkagold wax was then added to the raised pattern with the best tool ever made ~ my fingers!

Embellishments: Ribbons from Kort og Godt 'konfirmasjon' satin, and unknow silver ribbon.
Tools: ProvoCraft Silent Setter tool to make the hole.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: Provocraft Cuttlebug 5x7 Embossing die Tim Holtz 'Clockworks' embossingfolder.
Dies: Fuzzy Lemon 'Lighthouse Scene' die (Craftstash UK). Lawn Fawn Cuts 'Flippy Flappy LF2686' (front stitched diecut). Creative Expressions 'Sue Wilson Australian Collection - Background Die Set' (the rectangle frame die).

Essentials/Adhesives: High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. Simon Says Stamps micro dot adhesive sheet.
 

Techniques/Mediums: Having lots of paperscraps from previous confirmation creations ~ i took a piece of copypaper, added a sheet of strong wide 5 inch scorpal tape adhesive, then stuck all the scrap lengths of paper diagonally. Cut it down to a tag shape and punched a hole in the top with my silentsetter. I then used Viva Decor 'platinum' inka gold wax rubbed on top of the raised dryembossed texture and diecut ~ see photos of the process above. Added a white bazzill cardstock to the back and doodled the edges with a Sakura Permapaque blue metallic marker.

Til våren har søskenbarnet mitt konfirmasjon, og jeg har fått oppgaven å lage bordkort, invitasjoner og takkekort, noe jeg jo gjør med glede ♥ Lagde disse to bordkortene som de skal velge et av ~ og jeg håper på kamera versjonen selv om det blir merjobb til meg x 30 lol 😅
Motivet av båten har vært min inspirasjon og jeg gikk for et maritimt tema. Gutten har faktisk selv lagd tegningen av familiens båt! Så talentfull 💗

Confirmation day tablecards for my cousin. I have been asked to make invitations and thank you cards, with tablecards for the party, and I'm very happy to do so! Made theese two samples for them to pick from.. i know wich one would be my pick.. the camera absolutely, although more work for me, as I will be making 30 of them lol 😅
The motif of the boat has been my inspiration for a nautical theme. The boy actually drew the boat himself! Amazing talent 💗

I was asked to make a confirmation day card for the grand-daughter of one of my mums friends. Themed to fit the girls hobbies and favorite colors it ended up pretty awesome. Hope she loves it! ♥

Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Ranger ink Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to distress image and papers. To heat emboss I used a Versamark inkpad and a heat gun tool. Tonic Studios Nuvo 'Classic silver' embossing powder for the confirmation text die, triple embossed! There is also silver heat embossing on the floral bunad stamp and bicycle. Ranger clear embossingpowder over the hearts and the main photo.

Confirmation Easel Card & BlogCandy Winner!

 

En tid tilbake ble jeg ble spurt om å lage et konfirmasjonskort for en gutt som er glad i biler, ATV, moped ~ ting som sier vrooom! altså :) Jeg spør alltid etter hobbyer og favoritt farger, spesielt når jeg ikke kjenner mottageren. Også om det skal være plass for et gavekort eller penger, og det er det her. Jeg fikk flere foto av gutten fra han var liten, og brukte et baby foto som hoved motiv, etter å ha redigert ut en litt rotete bakgrunn - ikke at de hadde det rotete altså! Nei, det passet bare ikke med stoler og kjøkken innredning liksom.. Fant papirer i blå og bruntoner og stempler som passet. Å bruke deres egne bilder og interesser gir kortet en spesiell betydning, og slår alltid godt an ♥

I was asked to make this card for a young boys confirmation day a while back. And whenever I get requests like this, I want to know about special hobbies/interests and favourite colors, and if the card shall have a money/giftcard pocket or not. For example, this boys interests are music and things that go vrooom! Colors were browns and blues. I got several photos of him as a child, wich I printed out on watercolor paper. A baby photo was edited to remove the 'noisy' background, and used as the main image. Using their own images gives it a special meaning for the giver and the recipient ♥
