My DT inspiration for this months challenge at PapirPlaneten is a vintage all pink easel card for a girls confirmation day. Some of the motifs are censored as I could not show here the actual photos of the girl confirmand as a small child :)

It's my final creation as a member of the DT, and while I am going to miss beeing a part of this team of fabulous crafty girls, I'll still be seeing them around on fb and blogland ♥ Big hugs and Best wishes! ♥

Designteamet fikk bruke fritt av hva vi allerede har av motiver, og jeg har brukt et nydelig Hero Arts klubb kit jeg fikk i desember ifjor med orientalske motiver. Det minner veldig om Scheherazade, fortellersken i boka 1001 natt med favoritteventyr som Aladdin, Sinbad og AliBaba og de førti røverne! :)

The team had free choice to use any motifs we wanted on this challenge, and I have used the Hero Arts december 2017 club kit wich was arabian nights themed, and I believe one of the most beautiful kits Hero Arts have ever made ♥ My two previous blogposts is also using this kit!

I do not know if the artist intended it so, but the girl reminds me very much of Scheherazade from 1001 Nights, or Arabian Nights as it is also named. I had a version with only some of the stories (better suited for young children I assume) and I especially loved the stories about Aladdin, AliBaba & Sinbad.

Feline Friend Birthday card

Kortet mitt idag var kjempegøy å lage bakgrunn til.. SPLÆTT! Masse risting med malepenselen og noen spruter med distress ink sprayene mine ~ men det beste er vel selve splættene, de ser så stilig ut og er veldig enkelt å lage: Ta en Tim Holtz distress stains (med sånn svamp-påførings-topp) og dunk den hardt mot papiret så blekket spruter (lurt å legge arket/kortet oppi ei pappeske eller noe først), og det blir en utrolig kul effekt! ..Jeg 'gjenoppdaget' teknikken her forleden da jeg mistet flasken på bordet.. ble en masse søl, men fikk jo et a-ha øyeblikk ;)

I had such fun creating this cards background! SPLAT! A whole lotta shaking, flicking and spraying ~ but the coolest effect was the splats! Don't they look cool? I 're-discovered' the technique when I dropped my distress stains bottle on my crafttable and made a right mess.. but it did give me an idea for my next project! So to do the same just remember to protect your work surface, like by putting the card base / paper in a cardboard box or something first, then forcibly put the dabber bottle against the paper, and the artistic cool-looking splats appears! I LOVE my Tim Holtz inks ♥

Creepy Color Purple!

Hadde lyst å virkelig utfordre meg selv med et kort, å lage noe nytt, for meg iallefall! Så jeg valgte på forhånd ut noen utfordrings blogger med temaer jeg ville bruke som inspirasjon. Ble fornøyd med resultatet også, selv om jeg til og begynne med var litt bekymret for hvordan jeg slulle lage motiv direkte på kortet, uten papirer og stæsj! OG i lilla!!! ;)

This was a really fun card to make! I chose theese themes beforehand to really challenge myself, and that I did! I think this is the first one-layer, no-designer-paper AND no-embellies card that I've ever done! And in Purple no less ~ a color I was not really a fan of, until now that is! Tim Holtz makes the most lushious colors, and I'm sure going to be using my purples more! :)

I stamped the main motifs first on scrap paper, to use for stencils ~ attached with ZIG two-way glue (works like a post-it). I've used Twinkling H2O's and Tim holtz Distress Ink Markers & pads to color images, and distress tool on the edges of the card.

Nok en ny utfordringsblogg!!! Har snart ikke plass i lista mi... *lol* Southern Girls er for Australia og New Zealand - men også åpen for resten av verden :) Første utfordring er med helt åpent tema. Så her er enda et Jack skellington kort!

And then there was another challengeblog on my list! They keep popping up - and I love to check them all out - so I'll soon run out of space in my sidebar *lol* Southern Girls is for the aussies and New Zealand - but open worldwide too! And the first challenge is an open theme, so I have another Jack Skellington card today! :)

Embellishments: I've stamped his head, shirt, and the moon onto white paper then cut & glued them onto the stamped motifs on the allegro-background.

What's this?

En av mine absolutte favorittfilmer er Nightmare before Christmas fra Tim Burton. Jeg har tilogmed en kjempestilig byste av Jack, og det fulgte med en nisselue jeg bruker putte på hodet hans innimellom, og når det er jul! ♥ Kjempeherlig film :)
Var så heldig og fant The Nightmare Before Christmas stempler hos Stamp it Crazy - og måtte selvfølgelig ha dem!!! Har ønsket meg sånne i flere år men aldri sett noen før nå :) Kortet mitt passer til utfordring #6. hos Lollipop Crafts - som er 'monstre og sånt'.

The most übercool movie ever! I luv the Nightmare before Christmas - and I probably got almost all of Tim Burtons dvd's - as well as my favourite decorative object in my livingroom - Jack Skellington himself! It even come with a little sandyclaws hat wich I put on him every now and then - and especially for xmas ;)

I've searched for rubbers with motifs from the movie for ages - but now I finally found them! Stamp it Crazy is the place to shop for Jack :) My card is entered in Lollipop Crafts challenge #6. Monsters & Such - but personally I think Jack is not much of a monster, he's just the most adorable skeleton I know & certainly unique! ♥
