SING like no one's listening!

Sååå masse rosa & bling! Litt for mye kansje?

OMG there's Sooo much bling & glitzy pink here! Not usually my style, but when requested I do have to bring the glam ;) This is my DT card for this fortnights challenge #158. at Creative Fingers. We're kindly sponsored by our Angelique this time with a stamp set, and as always it is an 'Anything goes theme'. You are more than welcome to join with your creations ♥

I'm sorry this is a day late, the resent storm and a lightning strike blew out the internet sender thingy, and the few times I managed to get online with my phone, the 4G was so bad I couldn't do anything.. drove me almost up the walls not having access! They only made a temporary fix for now, and I'm very happy for that, but hopefully it will get fixed soon too full capacity. It felt a bit sluggish when streaming, and I do love my daily dose of youtubes & binging tv-series.. The only good thing that comes out of internet-downtime is more time spent crafting! ;)

Valentine ❤️ pop-up card!

http://creativefingerschallengeblog.blogspot.no/

This supercute motif is a Bugaboo digistamp I've had printed out for what seems like.. years?! I got SO many digis saved on my laptop, and a huge amount already printed out on watercolor cardstock... But it's always the newest most 'in' right now images that usually grabs my attention first!
Valentines is coming up and I finally seized the moment for coloring this cutie couple for my DT creation at Creative Fingers #157. where Bugaboo Stamps is our sponsor. As always it is an 'Anything goes theme', and you are more than welcome to join with your creations ♥

how awesome is that interactive ❤️ pop-up die?
took me a long while to figure out how to not mess up the
bending slits that make the 'pop' effect, but so worth it :)

Stamps/Images: Bugaboo Stamps 'Ava and Deacon Love Word' digistamp. North Star stamps 'Valentine tekster & kjærlige hilsner'.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Marianne Design 'Vintage Romance' 6x6 pretty papers bloc.
Embellishments: Lilac satin ribbon that came wrapped around a HeroArts kit.
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'. Cut 'n' Shape #9. fleur de lis corner punch.
Dies: Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Thinlits Dies 'Mixed Media 2'. Neat & Tangled 'Pixelated Heart' Die.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. Double sided tape. 3D foam/mosegummi. High-Tack Double Sided Sookwang Scor-Pal Tape and Red Miracle tape. Tonic Studios Nuvo crystal drops 'Silver lining' and glitter drops 'white blizzard'. Silver glitter unknown.

Techniques/Mediums:  I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to watercolor the image. And I paperpieced some elements like the tiny bow, heart, girl feet, and the boys hand - popping up with 3D foam dots. I added some doodling to the image and word with a black Micron felt tip liner pen. The lace diecut I added very strong tape behind, and added silver glitter to the openings, burnishing it in place with a bonefolder.
I used the ribbon to keep the card locked together as it wanted to pop open - and I rgret not tying it first and taping it to the front, leaving the ends to be tied on the back with a button / magnet or somethin, as the ribbon has to be tied again by the recipient, and not everyone is able to make a nice bow ;)

There could only be one winner of each of my blogcandies ~ but as thanks for joining in and for all those who visit my blog ~ I would like you all to have my  digital alcohol background freebie for you to print out and use in your crafting! Please before using this image, read my TOU (terms of use) for digis, although this aint a digi stamp lineart, same principles applies. You find this under each of my listings descriptions on etsy. Thank you ♥

 'Tindaloo Alcohol Ink Play freebie'
~ NB: only available here until end of february 2019 ~
after this time it will be listed in bigger quality on my etsy shoppe :)

I made three alcohol ink backgrounds, the largest is my favourite so I digitized it so it could be printed out again and again. Doesn't it kind of look like viruses? Was going for an abstract floral feel, but the more I look at it, the more it looks a bit.. alien.. LOL! Hope you will enjoy it :)

I have used the alcohol ink landscape background on this card ~ Blue Christmas. And the third one, my 'splotchy swirly yupo' (a paper wich is new to me, so we're not quite friends yet..), that was my least favourite one. But I have still used it on the card I'm sharing today! Since the die cover most of it up it is looking good even though I messed it up :)

The fairy wings is paperpieced and she's popped up on 3D foam dots.
I had stamped, then fussycut out all the images from leftover paint splatter sheets, adding shading afterwards with my watercolor pencils. I then diecut the shapes from white cardstock and glued the images on to leave a nice white edge. A super fun card to make, and certainly not the last I make with this awesome Hero Arts kit!

I used a heatgun tool and blew some Ranger Ink Alcohol solution &  Alcohol Inks onto Yupo paper: Sail boat blue, Flamingo, Patina, Amethyst. Purple foil added to 'sticky bits' of the alcohol ink background, not showing up so well in the photos though... And I also used my brand new Alcohol Lift Ink pad. See Jennifer McGuire's 'Alcohol Lift Ink Techniques' on youtube, and also ofcourse Tim's own tutorial on youtube, it's a fantastic must have tool if you're into alcohol inks!
