Har hatt migrene noen dager nå, så jeg lagde en enkel tag / bokmerke som mitt DT bidrag hos Creative Fingers #225. Som alltid har vi et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema, og velkommen skal du være 😊 Siden jeg er sponsor denne gangen har jeg brukt mitt eget digistempel som bakgrunn ~ whimsy doodle flower. Since I have had a migraine for days.. I thought I would make it easy for myself and create this quick an easy tag / bookmark as my DT project for this fortnights challenge #225. at Creative Fingers. I am sponsoring this time! So I used one of my own doodle digis ~ Whimsy doodle flower ~ as background ~ with Tim Holtz pretty butterfly dies 💜

Stamps/Images: Digi Doodle stamps by Tindaloo 'Whimsy Doodle Flower' digistamp.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Studio Light - Creative with chalk 'SCRAPCH01'. Panduro misc paperscraps Bazzill 'Raven' black cardstock.
Embellishments: ...
Tools: My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: ...
Dies: Sizzix Tim Holtz 'Tag collection 658784', and 'Detailed butterflies mini 661802' thinlits dies.
Essentials/Adhesives: Gluedots. High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. 3D foam/mosegummi. Tonic Studios Nuvo 'Midas touch' aqua shimmer brush. Hug Snug seambinding ribbon.

Techniques/Mediums: I used Tim Holtz Distress Inkpad 'Black soot' and Versafine Onyx black permanent inkpad, to distress the edges of the papers.
First though, I had simply diecut out two tags, one from aquarelle paper with the printed digistamp flower, and another tag from a designerpaper. I put them into my splatterbox along with my diecut butterflies (just using a large cardboardbox to avoid staining my clothes and tabletop) and then sprayed them with Tims Distress Spray Stain 'Picked raspberry' & 'Salavaged patina', and when dry (heatgun) added some Oxide ink Spray 'Salvaged patina' splatters as well.
The crinkled seambinding ribbon is dyed using the same sprays, and I just crumpled it with my hands while I dried it off with a heatgun ~ and now my hands are a bit stained because I forgot to glove up! 🤣

I got the new Hero Arts MMH kit for january a few days ago, and I just had to play with it immediately! So gorgeous, probably the prettiest cover die I own now 💗 I can see so many uses for it, not just for valentines or love themed cards ~ Alice in wonderland, the Secret garden, even Stephen Kings Dark Tower series gives me ideas! Wind through the keyhole is one of the books, and an ongoing theme in the series are doors that leads to different worlds.

For this card though, my DT inspiration for Creative Fingers #224., I have used a really old 'glansbilde' wich is a vintage glossy and embossed scrap image thats already diecut and comes typically in sheets where images are connected with just a few tabs, and u snip them apart. We used to collect and swap theese as kids.. way back 30-40 years ago 😊 This page is a great source of information about them if you want to know more or just reminisce!
