Don't lose Hope... 💗

Dette 'Håp' bildet var egentlig ment for et kort, men siden moren min kom inn på scrapperommet og sa 'Det der kainn du ikkje gi bort!' *hinthint*.. så ble det isteden et bilde som hun kan ha til pynt i stua 😉

DT bidrag hos Creative Fingers #237. Som alltid har vi et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema. Jeg er sponsor denne gangen og har både et digistempel og en flott 'Leafy Circle' dies som premie! Velkommen skal du være 💗

“Don't lose hope. When the sun goes down, the stars come out.”
– author unknown.

The Hope image inside the frame was actually meant to go on a card, but my mum came in while i was crafting and said 'You're not giving that away'... hinting she loved it so much, that I instead made it into a decoration piece for her 😉

It's my DT inspiration for Creative Fingers #237., and as always it is an 'Anything goes theme'. You are more than welcome to join with your creations. I am sponsoring with both a digistamp AND a physical 'Leafy Circle' die as a prize this time! 💗

Stamps/Images: Hero Arts Bold prints 'Mud cloth' CG711, and MMH0617 Africa themed kit clearstampset.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Hero Arts 'pitch black' and Bazzill black cardstocks.
Embellishments: Notabene twine Ribbon. Washi from Panduro Hobby.
Tools: My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: Hero Arts 'Sunset landscape' stencil from the MMH0420 Australian themed kit.
Dies: Spellbinders™ 'Gold Corners One SP-S4-393 dies'. Hero Arts MMH1220 'Hope' die.
Essentials/Adhesives:
High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape.
Techniques/Mediums: For the watercolored background I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Spray stains 'Spiced marmalade' & 'Walnut stain' plus water spritzed onto the paper and air dried. Distress inkpad 'Gathered twigs'.
To heat emboss I first used
Hero Arts 'intense black' inkpad on the elephant, for the pattern i just used Hero Arts embossing inkpad. Heat gun tool & Hero Arts Clear and Gold embossingpowders.
I made a sturdy frame out of a couple of A4 cardboard sheets using a T-ruler, about 18x18 cm, and dressed it in fake-leather fabric (think from Jysk). Then added the diecut corners and picture on the back of the frame.
