Til Papirplanetens utfordring for September ~ #9. Høsten ~ har jeg valgt å lage et kort i litt vintage høstlige farger og som hovedmotiv ei lita jente fra Mo Manning 'Bye bye girl'. (du finner henne og ugle stemplet her).
Hun ser ut som om hun skal begynne i 1.klassen, og ligner faktisk litt på meg en gang for lenge lenge siden ♥ Vi håper du blir inspirert til å delta! :)

Det har vært litt stille både her i bloggen og ellers i livet.. sommern har ikke vært den beste. Vært to dødsfall like etter hverandre nå, først en kjær gammel grandonkel og nå nylig ei venninne.. Så forferdelig trist :( 

Helsemessig begynner ting å bli bedre, og jeg har vært hos hudlege og fått bekreftet at det jeg har vært plaget med i 10-15 år faktisk er psoriasis. Har begyndt lysbehandling 3 ganger i uken på sykehuset + en god steroidsalve og hansker om natten på hendene mine (føles helt tåpelig!), og fant allerede stor forskjell etter et døgn! Bare dumt at det er tilsammen to timers kjøretid for å ta den behandlingen på 1-3 minutter! o.O 
Har hatt mye ryggvondter og er veldig sliten.. og det skal vare enda noen uker til, men hendene har ikke sett så bra ut på flere år som nå, så det er absolutt verdt det! :) 

It's been a little quiet on the blog this summer, best laid plans and all that.. Healthwise it's not been the best, so there's been little creative mojo happening. A kind old grand uncle that's been ill died some weeks ago, and more recently a friend of mine also passed away, totally unforseen, so young with small children.. So so sad ♥ ♥ ♥ 

But I have finally learnt that my achy chapped hands is not only my fibromyalgia acting up, but also a form of psoriasis ~ and after so many years, finally I'm getting some help. UV light treatments and a steroid salve has already made my hands start to look normal! :)

My card today is a DT inspiration for PapirPlaneten, a norwegian challengeblog and craft shoppe. The main motif is from Mo Manning and kind of reminds me of myself as a child ♥ This was back in '80-'81 I think. That's my older brother with the cat Missi, our mum, and me on my little tricycle :)

Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Rangers Glossy Accents to add shine and drops like water on the motif.

Top Tip: THIS is an image that I originally ruined completely.. as u can see ;) I really messed up the bunny, but luckily I had another printed out in the same size, so I painted n paperpieced it, and it looked even better! Just remember to think how to fix a 'ruined' image before throwing it away, like with a flower or other embellishment, or paperpiece :)

Men først tenker jeg å vise frem et kort jeg var veldig glad for å lage ~ min lille niese Amalia ble døpt ifjor, og fra meg kom det en altered bok-eske (skal blogge den også snart). De andre søsknene mine ga dette kortet. Og det ble også mange fine gaver både til den lille og til den stolte storesøster! ♥

As this is my blogentry #300, and to celebrate coming back to blogland after a years hiatus... I have some sweet candy for you below! Last year was my sweet niece Amalias ♥ baptism and I made this card to be given from the family. I also made an altered decoupage book case (box) that I'll blog about later on. 
Mo Manning is one of my favourite artists, and this sweet image is just one of many of her gorgeous designs. I especially love her children stamps, as they really look like actual children! :)

Yess! Endelig tilbake på nett. Har slitt med internett og blogger abstinenser de siste ukene, siden PC'n min gikk i svart skjerm og nektet slå seg på.. Fikk meg litt av en oppvekker da jeg trodde alle filer, fotos, digitale stempler, bilder og dokumenter jeg har samlet opp gjennom siste 10++ årene var vekke for alltid!

 Så folkens - husk å backe up harddiskene deres! Heldigvis gikk det ikke mange søvnløse netter før broren min, Kevin, fant ut at selve innholdet på harddisken var ok - resten er muligens fritert men det gjør ikkenoe så lenge filene er intakt :) Kjøpte en ekstern HD og alt er overført dit, og jeg har kjøpt en ny PC, Fujitsu laptop. Har brukt de siste to dagene på å legge inn filene mine på nytt og diverse programmer. Lettet nå ja.. *puh* Så var det bare å gå gjennom ett tonn med emails og finne ut hva som har foregått siden jeg sist var på nett - merkelig hvor avhengig man har blitt av internett... Men jeg har jo fått lest en del bøker i det siste og tatt en skikkelig opprydding i leiligheten, det trengtest! *lol* ;)

I've had a real wakeup-call and I urge you all to take a back-up of your harddrive if u haven't lately, or ever! I'm finally back online after weeks of downtime due to my PC flaking out on me - it just went all dark and refusing to power up - and the main card? is probably fried.. 

My brother Kevin has taken out the harddisk and found all the contents is still 'alive', and I got an external HD to keep everything backed up on - from now on - always! I got a new computer, Fujitsu laptop - even though I like the stationary kind the best (he says I can still use it as that, with a screen, mouse and keyboard if I want - and I do!) and have spent hours upon hours transferring files and getting my fave programs back on it...

I did get a lot of reading and cleaning up my apartment done ~ but SO much relief and happiness now that I have my online life back on track *lol* weird how dependent u get?... ;)

Thinking of You...

Jeg gleder meg til å få scrappeboden min iorden, og en ordntlig krok med godt lys til å ta bilder av kort oa. kreasjoner.. Selv om det er strålende sol og godt lys (herlig sommervær idag! endelig er sommern kommet til vesterålen.. enn så lenge!) så blir ikke bildene bra nok... 
 Men endelig ser det ut som om planene om å få boden min omgjort til scrapperom skal bli realisert! Den har stått nesten ferdig i evigheter, mangler bare en benkeplate og to reoler under plata ~ som jeg skal kjøpe i neste uke når det kommer penger på konto. Er litt perfeksjonist, føler alt må være iorden før jeg kan sette ting der de skal være :) 
Fant ut at jeg er den heldige vinneren på Joanna Sheens ch. blogg av disse Giordano decoupage arkene idag! Gleder meg til de kommer ~ jeg er veldig glad i de nydelige katte og hunde bildene hans, har lagd mange kort med Giordano Cd'n jeg har kjøpt der.

I'm SO looking forward to finally getting my scraproom in order ~ then I'll be able to take better photos of my cards and creations :) It's been almost ready to move my stash into for ages.. only missing a bench and a couple of storage cabinet to put underneath, wich I'm gonna get next week! It's the perfectionist in me that wants everything to be in order before organizing and arranging my stash... :) 

 On another note ~ How lucky am I?! I won the blogcandy at Joanna Sheens ch. blog, a gorgeous set of Giordano decoupage. A fine addition to my Giordano CD, of wich I've made lots of cards by.

Da jeg lagde dette kortet med dette herlige digistemplet fra Mo Manning, minnet det meg om mine to yngre brødre da de var små ~ De var vel ikke alltid verdens beste venner, men helledussan så søte de var! Og nå er de blitt voksne og eldstemann har nylig fått en liten datter... tiden går så alltfor fort :)

I just adore this image from Mo Manning! It so reminds me of my two younger brothers when they were young children ~ all grown up now though, the eldest will be 30 soon and has recently become a dad, and my youngest brother is 27 and tall as an oaktree.. nothing about him says 'little' anymore *lol* Time passes by too quickly it seems :)

#1. Friend!

Sommeren er her! Det har vært deilige varme mai-dager.. og mygga stikker og mushumlene er store som.. mus! Babymus iallefall ;) Og her om kvelden var jeg ute på verandaen og tok meg en røyk - og 50 meter unna, ned mot sjøen stod det to elger og 'hadde seg'! *lol*
Mo Manning har noen av de nydeligste stemplene der ute - både i digi, clear og gummi! :) Denna Digi-jenta er printed på glossy ark og fargelagt med Marvy LePlume tusjer. Utfordringen på Mo's DP2 #82. er 'Her kommer sommeren'.


The challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil is #82. "Here Comes Summer" - and for me summer is all about icecream, shopping and all things green :) Quite a difference from my last posted card, all vintage and rustique - wich is my fave medium - but once in a while an image just screams for bright colors, don't u think? I colored her with my Marvy LePlume watercolor markers.
