Har brukt et Whimsy Stamps die-set med flotte sopper på dette kortet, som jeg lagde på Bikubens online høst treff og i farta glemte av en liten alv jeg kuttet ut med en die fra samme sett (bare forestill deg en alv der lol har lagd kort tidligere med dem her), skal prøve å huske å lime den på neste gang jeg er på scrapperommet (om jeg finner den i alt rotet)..🤭

On my card I have used a set of dies by Whimsy Stamps, with theese supercute chubby mushrooms! I forgot to add the fairy i had cut out from the same set during the hoopla of the online scrapmeet i was at when i made this.. just imagine one of the fairies sittin on a shroom or flying by.. (like on this card i made once with the same set, here) ~ i will try and remember to glue it on next time i craft .. (if i can find it in all my mess..) 🤭

I am, as i often can be due to my health unfortunately, a little late with my creation ~ this time though i had a happy reason for beeing so tired and achy, doin a lot of blog stuff and making a pretty 'thank you' freebie digistamp ~ not able to complete and get it up in time is a big oof... my energy just said 'POOF' and my hands said 'NOPE'. So i been knocked out most of the weekend... but now its there!

Whoop whoop! 🎉 The ticker on my blog has actually rounded 500.000 unique visitors ~ according to google if i am to believe it ~ what a milestone! 🥳 🎂

Wow ... I am so amazed that this little blog has had so many visits over the years ~ ever since the humble start of a newbie blogger back in July of 2008!
Living with chronic bad health i found a creative outlet in papercrafting, going from mainly scrapbooking i started to make cards instead and coloring and mixed media ~ and hoarding crafty stuff i probably never be able to use all of! 🤣
Through this wonderful hobby i have made many friendships along the way, via the community of other bloggers and crafters all around the world online, on designteams like Creative Fingers, so many FB groups and forums ~ thank you! 💐
Unfortunately I am not always able to post regulary or chat & comment much due to my health issues ... so i just want you all to know that i am truly thankful for all of your visits and kind comments on my blog 💗

Yay! Its finally up! My crafty goodies giveaway 😊 AND ~ there is not just one but TWO blogcandies that I'm giving away ~ two winners, DOUBLE the fun! 

Do you remember way back when penpalling and swapping stuff ~ FB's, Decos and Slams was the way to connect with the world before the internet and social media took over our lives?

I got my first penpal at the age of 6! From my teenage years until my early twenties, my main hobby was writing letters and exchanging things that made me happy, stationary papers, stickers. Especially Disney and later also Diddl & Sanrio! ❤️ At one point I had over 50 penpals and probably 200 swappers only all around the world! 
For several years I used to be that girl who made the postman go nuts by having to bring me up to 30 letters and packages each week... When I 'found' a new hobby where I could be an artist, by scrapbooking and cardmaking ~ it all faded away bit by bit.. Fun times and good memories though 🥰

But I *never* throw away stuff! and I know I'm not the only one, amiright? 😉 
I have lots of boxes full of stationary, stickers and SO much Diddle & Sanrio  papers I will never be able to use it all up. My nieces are overjoyed to get some, but I don't think their parents will be as joyful if they get more *lol* we're talking boxes upon boxes...

 'Tindaloo Alcohol Ink Play freebie'

I made three alcohol ink backgrounds, the largest is my favourite so I digitized it so it could be printed out again and again. Doesn't it kind of look like viruses? Was going for an abstract floral feel, but the more I look at it, the more it looks a bit.. alien.. LOL! Hope you will enjoy it :)

I have used the alcohol ink landscape background on this card ~ Blue Christmas. And the third one, my 'splotchy swirly yupo' (a paper wich is new to me, so we're not quite friends yet..), that was my least favourite one. But I have still used it on the card I'm sharing today! Since the die cover most of it up it is looking good even though I messed it up :)

The fairy wings is paperpieced and she's popped up on 3D foam dots.

I had stamped, then fussycut out all the images from leftover paint splatter sheets, adding shading afterwards with my watercolor pencils. I then diecut the shapes from white cardstock and glued the images on to leave a nice white edge. A super fun card to make, and certainly not the last I make with this awesome Hero Arts kit!

Dies: Hero Arts 'MMH December 2018 kit' co-ordinating dies. 'MMH May 2018 Tree of Life kit - Window fancy tree frame' die. Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Labels 4 S4190'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. High-Tack Double Sided (Red Liner/Stix2/Miracle) tape and Sookwang Scor-Pal tape. Ranger Collage glue stick.
Techniques/Mediums:  I used misc. Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to watercolor and distress images and papers, as well as both Derwent Inktense & Bruynzeel aquarelle ink pencils. Hero Arts 'pink glimmer' lacquer glue pen from the january kit, and the Sakura GellyRoll glitter pen that came in the December kit.

I used a heatgun tool and blew some Ranger Ink Alcohol solution &  Alcohol Inks onto Yupo paper: Sail boat blue, Flamingo, Patina, Amethyst. Purple foil added to 'sticky bits' of the alcohol ink background, not showing up so well in the photos though... And I also used my brand new Alcohol Lift Ink pad. See Jennifer McGuire's 'Alcohol Lift Ink Techniques' on youtube, and also ofcourse Tim's own tutorial on youtube, it's a fantastic must have tool if you're into alcohol inks!
