My DT inspiration for this months challenge at PapirPlaneten is a vintage all pink easel card for a girls confirmation day. Some of the motifs are censored as I could not show here the actual photos of the girl confirmand as a small child :)

It's my final creation as a member of the DT, and while I am going to miss beeing a part of this team of fabulous crafty girls, I'll still be seeing them around on fb and blogland ♥ Big hugs and Best wishes! ♥

Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock and Bazzill Bling pink cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Misc scraps of Designerpapers.
Embellishments: Butterfly charm and pink glitter brad unknown. Kaisercraft Pink pearl bling. Ribbon from Nille Memories pink polkadots. Washi from Kremmerhuset vintage text.

Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams.
Dies: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Labels 22'. QuicKutz (new branded as LifeStyle crafts/WRMK) 'Storybook 4x8 Mini Alphabet', 'QK Nesting Shapes Lace Squares DC0158' and 'REV-0084 Heart'. Magnolia Doohickey's Dies 'Vintage tag'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Gluedots. Double sided tape. 3D foam/mosegummi. Rangers Glossy accents.

Techniques/Mediums:  I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress images and papers.

Super Hero Boy!

Scrappers Delights er vår sponsor for denne ukens utfordring #30 hos Creative Fingers ~ som vanlig har vi 'Lag-hva-du-vil' med et valgfritt tema som denne gangen er å bruke Perler/halv-perler! Jeg fikk 'Super Hero Boy' digistempel å vise frem, kjempesøt! Og jeg har prøvd meg på et typisk guttekort... med Perler!!! Ikke helt typisk det da, og litt utfordrende... men det funket til slutt!

I really wanted to do a boy card and with this digi ~ and I struggled a bit with adding pearls to it... a bit unusual to go with a boy-theme, but at least they are blue! *lol* :)
Had some new cogs-dies too from Sissix that I wanted to play with ~ perfect for boys or steampunk cards I think.

My background paper is done with a brayer and different colored inkpads ~ on a Gelli Plate! I'm totally hooked on this new technique, after seeing this video by Lavinia Stamps on youtube 'Card creations using the Gelli Plate', I knew I just had to buy one. It arrived recently, and I've made lots of fun backgrounds ~ wich will end up on cards soon :) Gelli Arts have their own channel on youtube with tutorials on how to use the gel plate. And this lady ~ Patti Parrish ~ has some very cool techniques that I'll try out sometime (she's very entertaining too!).

Techniques: Gelli Arts 6x6 Gel Printing Plate. Background paper made with a brayer and misc inks, like Ranger's Adirondack 'wild flower' dye ink pad. The pattern is made with a piece of metal punchinella.
I used Twinkling H2o's and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to watercolor and distress image and papers.  
Comfort Craft Distressing Tool by Ingvild Bolme for the edges -> This btw. is also a new addition to my stash, and I LOVE it! Usually I have had 'sandpaper-fingers', I've could have been a cat-burglar with fingerprints almost vanished *lol* But this tool is awesome for all your distressing needs! Highly reccomend it - I got mine at Joanna Sheen.

To make the bow I used the 'Bow-Easy' tool, very easy indeed! before this my bows looked really messy, and I often had to undo and redo a million times. U can't go wrong with this tool, just sayin'!

Fond memories..

Da jeg lagde dette kortet med dette herlige digistemplet fra Mo Manning, minnet det meg om mine to yngre brødre da de var små ~ De var vel ikke alltid verdens beste venner, men helledussan så søte de var! Og nå er de blitt voksne og eldstemann har nylig fått en liten datter... tiden går så alltfor fort :)

I just adore this image from Mo Manning! It so reminds me of my two younger brothers when they were young children ~ all grown up now though, the eldest will be 30 soon and has recently become a dad, and my youngest brother is 27 and tall as an oaktree.. nothing about him says 'little' anymore *lol* Time passes by too quickly it seems :)
