Fairy & Toad Step-Up card

Må bare beklage at DT bidraget mitt er en par dager på etterskudd, har hatt mye plager med hendene mine. (psoriasis++) Skulle ønske jeg var god på å lage kjappe clean & simple kort, men dette motivet fortjente absolutt mere tid og bling! ♥

Sorry for beeing a couple days late with my DT card for this fortnights challenge #133. at Creative Fingers. Having dealing with alot of health issues lately, and my hands has been very painful (psoriasis++), super difficult to craft when you can't bend your fingers ;) 

We are again so lucky to have two sponsors: Bugaboo Stamps & ElvenStar Art ♥ and as always it is an 'Anything goes theme', and you are more than welcome to join with your creations!

I bought a new fun Balloon Step-Up Sizzix Die (it's on sale right now!) and thought it would be perfect to use with the toad and fairy ♥ The round shapes on each fold is actually meant to have balloon diecuts on them, but it can be used for many themes :)

The gorgeous IndigoBlu gilding flakes has been added to the diecuts the quick and easy way ~ super strong adhesive tape! 
Think it must be the most time consuming card I've ever done, started it a week ago! Although it's an easy fold card to make with the sizzix die, cranking the bigshot was the worst on my hands, and was only able to spend 15 minutes in my craftroom at a time. On the bright side, it turned out very pretty! :)

My main motif is a rubberstamp from Rebecca Sinz, the artist behind ElvenStar Art. It's an old Sweet Pea Stamp, but they have since closed shop, and are not so easy to find anymore. She sells some of her motifs as digistamps and coloringpages (find the fairy toad image here) in her etsyshop linked below :)

Techniques: My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers.
 I used super strong adhesive tape Scor-Pal 'Scor-Tape Double Side Adhesive Sookwang 5inch x 27yd' (SUPER HUGE roll I got on Blitsy, on sale right now!) and Indigoblu IndigoBlu 'Megaflake Chocolate Box' gilding flakes. Wink of Stella glitter brush pen 'clear'.

Papers: Bazzill cardstock. Marianne Designs 'Pretty Paper Bloc' and  Melissa Frances 'C´est la vie' 6x6 paper pads. Plain white cardstock. the silver shiny paper is from a packanging/gift wrap paper. And the inside jounaling to the right is a cutout of a digi paper from Createwings Designs.

Embellishments/Tools: Martha Stewart 'Flourish' Edge Punch. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'. Docrafts & PaperMania adhesive rhinestones.
