Da jeg skulle diecutte rammen til motivet oppdaget jeg at alle de små bitene satt fast inni diesen. Vanligvis dytter jeg dem bare ut med min Quickstik ~ men denne gangen, siden alle sammen satt fast, fikk jeg ideen om å bruke tape og forgyllingsflak / bladgull :) Se bilder lengre ned.

AuroraWings ~ Mitzi Sato-Wiuff ~ is an artist who creates the most gorgeous images and the cutest little animals ♥ This little kittykat really loves sweet treats and has catched some yummy cupcakes! Such a perfect motif for an 80 year old lady who loves cats and baking :)
Inlaid Diecut Gilding ~ When I was diecutting the frame for this image I noticed all the little bits was still stuck inside the die. Usually I just poke them out with my Quickstik pick-up tool, but since they all were there it seemed such a waste... So I got the idea to stick them onto tape and use gilding flakes! It has probably been done before this way, but for me it was a eureka moment, that the negative diecut bits could actually be the art instead of useless scrapbits for the trash! The images below are kindof self explanatory but I added a tutorial text to make it easy if anyone wants to try it :)

Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and
distress image and papers. Rangers Glossy accents. Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen.
