Confirmation Easel Card & BlogCandy Winner!

~ Good luck or Congratulations/Felicitations on the Confirmation ~

I was asked to make this card for a young boys confirmation day a while back. And whenever I get requests like this, I want to know about special hobbies/interests and favourite colors, and if the card shall have a money/giftcard pocket or not. For example, this boys interests are music and things that go vrooom! Colors were browns and blues. I got several photos of him as a child, wich I printed out on watercolor paper. A baby photo was edited to remove the 'noisy' background, and used as the main image. Using their own images gives it a special meaning for the giver and the recipient ♥

Now.. You were perhaps looking for the Birdy BlogCandy winner? Look no further! The winner is chosen via inlinkz to be #2. ..wich is...

Congratulations! ♥ I will send an email to you shortly.

Thank you so much everyone for entering! Unfortunately no other winners as there were so few entries, but I will have another sweet blogcandy up next week! Do try your luck again then :)

Baby ~ Love is in the air

This is the most awesome cardcreating die ever! ♥ It scores and cuts a standing up dresser card, with several fun baby diecuts (image of the die set further down below). Created by Lori Whitlock & Sizzix, it fits through the BigShot with the extended platform. The width of the card is 5 1/2", so when folded you can use the same envelopes as for your 6x6 cards :)
My main motif is a supercute bird from Whiff of Joy stamp, who no longer make stamps, but there are still many shops who still have them in stock if you search around for it ♥

'When a child is born, a star lights up in the sky/heavens,
and gives a light/warmth to many hearts' ♥

a little is tag poking out from under the pocket/text area,
maybe there will be a gift card or hidden poem?
