I've had a migraine for several days that would not let up ... and been procraftinating after it finally did, beeing too exhausted, and ended up beeing so late with my DT card for this fortnights challenge #172. at Creative Fingers! Sorry about that ♥ I'm feeling much better now though :)
The supercute gnomegirl motif is from our generous sponsor Some Odd Girl stamps. I paired her with some mushrooms I had (also from SOG), by merging the images in windows paint.

Sock-Monkey Shaker Card!

I have to make a quickie post tonight.. as I haven't got much time to get it in for a challenge, as usual ;) I made a shaker-card to go with a baby book that my sister Silje will get soon in the mail from me. She's not my sister by blood, but of heart ♥ This image fits her perfectly, she's a cheeky one..

She's she sweetest girl I know, but she has an amazing sense of humour wich is a wee bit sadistic... If you stub your toe there will be no end of the cackle laughter! Silje & Ragnar (she's multi-handicapped & Ragnar wich is a baby doll / puppet, follows wherever she goes ~ or rather wheels around) will surely appreciate the voice box on this book... *lol* I'm sure Silje will think it's him who's doin' the laughing :)

And I've used Tim holtz Distress Ink Markers & pads to color and distress the card & image, and I found out that the markers has excellent writing-nibs as well as the brush tip! :)

Temaet for denne ukas Simon Says utfordring er å tenke på en sang og lage et kort etter det... Vel, jeg hadde denne på hjernen her om dagen; 'Eg heiter Håvard Hedde og er så ven ein kar - no vil eg bort og gifta meg - og ryddja meg ein gard....' Men jeg tror ikke den fins på engelsk? :)
This time Simon Says challenge 'Sing it Baby!' - is to find a song and make a card with that in mind! Well.. The song I had stuck on my mind is a sweet old norwegian folksong about a boy who's name is Håvard Hedde, and he wishes to build a farm below a mountainside, and to marry a girl, have kids... and so on. The girl ends up marrying another in the end - very sad.. ;) I don't think there is an english or american version though? Maybe 'Old MacDonalds' can be a cheerier substitute?! *lol*
