Fairy Sweet Friend 🧚

 

Da jeg var på scrappetreffet arrangert av Bikuben (se forrige bloggpost) lagde jeg også denne tag'en som jeg ga bort i går 💗 Er veldig glad i å lage slike tags fordi de er perfekt til å bruke både som gavelapper, bokmerke eller som pynt! Jeg har masse tags til bokmerker for jeg leser opptil 4-5 bøker samtidig alt etter hva humør jeg er i 😊 Jenta som fikk denne ligner faktisk litt på alven 💗 like nydelig med langt lyst hår!

When I was at at the Bikuben scrap event (see previous blogpost) I also made this tag wich was given to the new owner last night 💗 I'm very fond of creating tags because they're perfect to use as gift tags or as bookmarks, or just a pretty decoration! I got plenty tags I use in the books I read, wich is typically up to 4-5 at a time. I pick up the book I am in the mood for, or want to get in the same mood as 😊 The girl who got this tag actually looks a bit like this fairy 💗 same long blonde hair and just as pretty!.

Fairy Cookies & Tea

 

Det har ikke vært så mange bloggposter fra meg i sommer.. Slitt litt vel mye med helsa, så det har sjeldent vært tid for kreativitet på scrapperommet. Har isteden fått ryddet litt opp på pc'n, og det er sååå mye rot i mappene mine der! 
Fant faktisk flere kort som bare var tatt bilder av og ikke lagt ut på bloggen, og jeg legger for det meste ut alt jeg lager :)

Mine to sommerlige kort har begge fått hovedmotiv fra The Paper Shelter. Vanligvis foretrekker jeg å fargelegge dem selv, men TPS har allerede fargelagt disse perfekt ♥ Digistemplene kommer både i lineart og ferdig fargelagte motiver. Tilogmed digitale ark eller ferdig komponert følger med på de aller fleste, så man kan gjøre det så enkelt man bare vil! Jeg har kun printet ut motivene, og fargekoordinert med ark fra Panduro. Liker at det går en 'rød tråd' gjennom alt jeg lager, og håper de som mottar kortene setter pris på det :)

There has not been many blogposts from me over the summer as my health has not been very good of late. Not much craftiness going on in my scraproom.. But instead I've been able to do some much needed re-organizing and cleaning up in my computer folders. Wich is where I found several un-edited cards I had not blogged yet. And I blog pretty much all the things I create, so here are two summery cards with motifs from The Paper Shelter.

They have lots and lots of sweet digistamp sets ~ with both linearts and colored images. and although I prefer to do the coloring myself, TPS motifs are already so perfectly colored ♥
I love to make the kind of cards where there is a theme all the way, inside and out, even the back. And I like to think the recipients do appriciate the extra effort :)

Papers: For my motifs I used semigloss photopapers. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Panduro Hobby - Tilda coll. 'Country escape' and 'Garden party' 12x12 PP. The strawberry journaling paper is a digipaper from Meta Wulandari Design 'Tutti Frutti Collection'. And the heart locket, blue flowers and digi ribbon eyelet is from misc. Createwings Design digi kits.

Embellishments/Tools: Nellie Snellen dies 'Round Scalloped MFD079' and 'Straight Dotted Round MFD085'. Crafts Too Presscut 'Circle Nest Dies PCD46'. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'. Martha Stewart 'Flourish Edge Punch'. RePrint 'pink R0716 pearls'. Ribbons unknown (recycled from a blouse).
Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. I used my Ranger Ink Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool to ink around the edges of everything with Distress ink 'Gathered twigs'. Rangers Glossy accents on some details and as glue. Plus adhesives and funfoam/3D foam.
 

TPS Confirmand Easel Card

Det er veldig sjeldent at jeg bruker ferdige motiver på mine prosjekter, foretrekker absolutt å male dem selv, i de fargene jeg vil ha, og så er det jo så beroligende og deilig å sitte å male! 

Men av og til er det så kjekt å ha noe klart for å spare tid, spesielt når man trenger mange konfirmant kort i en fei ~ vil anbefale The Paper Shelter's motiver da man får både den digitale og fargelagte versjonen av motivene :) 

Vil også anbefale 'Stand Up Helpers' fra Elizabeth Craft Designs. Har lagd staffeli kort i mange år, men det har aldri vært så enkelt som med hjelp av disse diesene ♥ Klikk på bildet for en youtube-video! -->

I very rarely use ready-made motifs on my projects, I definitely prefer to paint them myself, getting the colors I wish, and it's so wonderfully soothing and rewarding to sit and color :)

However, sometimes it is just SO handy to have something already done to save time ~ then I would recomend The Paper Shelter's motifs, as you'll get both the digital and pre-colored version of their motifs. This is the beautiful 'Eva And Her Ferret', perfect for a confirmation card ♥ 

My tip for Top Tip Tuesday: I also recomend the 'Stand Up Helpers' dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs. As you see there is a leaf duo holding up my card, and it was super easy to do! Theese dies comes in sets with many shapes, and is really helpful in making easel cards. Check out this video on their youtube channel.

Vel 17 mai kom og gikk ~ eller regnet bort kan man vel heller si ;) Koste meg heller inne på scrapperommet med å lage konfirmasjons kort! The Paper Shelter har mange nydelige digi stempel sett, med både digitale ferdig fargelagde bilder (som det over) og ark som står til, lettvindt for de kjappe kortene. Og digistempler om man vil fargelegge selv! 
Denne jenta heter 'Eva and her ferret', men røyskatten har jeg 'croppet' bort siden ikke alle konfirmanter er så heldig å ha en som kjæledyr ;)

Our national holiday on the 17th of may came, and it rained away, while I sat in my warm & cozy scraproom making cards instead.. letting all the other people getting soaked and getting the flu instead! *lol* ;)  Nah, never was one for celebrating in style ~ don't even own a bunad (norwegian traditional dress), although I do have a couple of digital stamp ones!

The Paper Shelter has got lots of sweet digistamp sets ~ with both linearts and colored images (like this one I'm using) wich is awesome for those quickie cards. And there is also papers to go along with the designs, very handy! This girl is named 'Eva and her ferret' although I've cropped the ferret away, as not many confirmands has ferrets as pets on their special day ;)
