I ♥ tree frogs!

Har alltid vært fascinert av disse fargerike og søte froskene ♥ Samlet på postkort av frosker da jeg var yngre og lagde tilogmed et maleri basert på et slikt kort! ..Som en av brødrene mine likte så godt at han 'stjal' for å ha hjemme hos seg ;)

Derfor er jeg kjempeglad å få dette flotte digistemplet fra Beccy's Place, og å vise frem dette kortet som mitt DT-bidrag hos Creative Fingers. Stemplet er egentlig med en vanlig grønn frosk, så pupillen er feil vei i forhold til at jeg har malt i fargene til en trefrosk, men det var det første jeg tenkte på! Til utfordring #108. har vi som alltid et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema :)

I ♥ tree frogs! Always been facinated by theese colorful & cute little frogs. I used to collect postcards with frogs on them, and even made a painting based on one of the cards! ..Which one of my brothers loved so much that he sort of nicked it from me ;)

So I was super happy to get this sweet Beccy's Place stamp to color up as my DT-creation at Creative Fingers. This is actually not supposed to be a treefrog so the pupil/slit is the wrong way, but I just wanted to ink it like one anyway! ♥ You are welcome to join us for this fortnights challenge #108. Elsker denne lille fuglen fra Beccy's Place ~ Jeg har laget et kort tidligere med den her, men hadde veldig lyst å se hvordan den ville bli som vår egen kjære dompap ~ i sort, grått og rødt :) 
Om du synes kortene ligner veldig, joda de gjør det! Ofte når jeg lager et kort så fargelegger jeg to eller flere like motiver  samtidig. Og når jeg kutter/samler sammen 'ingrediensene' til et kort, så gjør jeg klart for et likedant kort samtidig, og samler alt inni kortbasen, ofte med en zip-lock pose til småtterier. Kjempekjekt å ha alt klart til et kort når det trenges! :) 

Jeg har også noen heldige vinnere fra mine siste blogcandies som får velge seg et digistempel fra min etsyshoppe! Beklager at det tok litt tid, ting har vært ganske hektisk den siste tiden ♥ Rull et stykke ned for å se hvem som vant! :)

On my card today I have a little birdy from Beccy's Place, SO cute ♥ not sure if we got this in Norway, but the shape and look very similar to our 'Dompap' that has black, grey and red colorings and is a finch-bird, so I have made him in theese colors!
If you wish to see a similar card with this bird (in his natural colors), see this post back in 2014. And yes, it IS some of the same papers n embellishes I used here, one thing I often do when I make cards is at the same time cutting and coloring everything ready for a other cards, and then I leave every cutout/image etc. inside the card base (ziplocks are handy if there's many small items), and set aside for another time. This is also a great timesaver for those 'oh no I need a card - now' moments *lol* :)

The inky background is created with a flick-n-swish technique I once saw Tim do, spattering drops of water with your fingers, and lifting the ink off with a papertowel. Jeg valgte denne lille fuglen for mitt DT-kort ♥ Ikke en fugl vi ser her til lands (?) men den ligner på dompappen, så jeg skal lage nok et kort med sort/grå/røde farger :) Som alltid er det 'Lag-hva-du-vil' hos CF ~ og designteamet har laget julekort denne gangen ~ som passet veldig bra, siden jeg har hundreogørti stykker å lage.. hehe, alltid i siste liten! ;)

I  love this cute little baby Robin! Don't think we have this bird in Norway, but it is supercute, and the form looks very similar to our 'Dompap' just in black, grey and red, a finch-bird I believe.. So I'll try and color it up like one for another card soon! :)

DI Tea Dye to distress edges of card and papers.
