a New Love ♥

New Love ~ New Joy ~ Congratulations!
A day for Daisies Challenge #23. has two "Secret Ingredients", in wich I think I recognized both, but decided to use only one, as I really wanted to paint up this image to have on an easel card :) Lovely newborn image don't ya think?
Inside & Under the Easel card

Stamps/Images: A day for Daisies 'New Love' digistamp. Magnolia 'Bryllups swirl' rubberstamp. Papirloftet Clearstamp 'Nyfødt' Stempelsett. Prima clear stamp kit 'Jack n Jill 2'. Personal Impressions acrylic stamps - Andy Skinner 'Gothic'.
Papers:
Bazzill cardstocks. Crate Paper - Static Collection 'Voltage'. Cosmo Cricket - Dutch Girl collection 'Sofie'.

Embellishments:
Kaiser Craft rhinestones. Unknown ribbon - tied neatly with the Bow Easy tool! The image is painted with a mix of Twinkeling H2O & Tim Holtz Distress inks. The photo doesn't show the shine of glimmer in the H2O's ~ but you can see the glitter on the flower petals, wich is Stickles 'Frosted Lace' by Ranger & Tim Holtz :)

Square Bookmarks!

Loads of bookmarks for the month of may challenge at the norwegian magazine blog Ett Trykk. Some years ago I watched a youtube video of someone making this kind of square bookmark - it's not the same technique as recently shown by Alice on the WOJ blog here - that one is more easy to do, and will work best if you're going to have a stamped motif on another paper glued on the bookmark, because it's more flat when finished folding.
If however, you like to make things difficult for yourself (as me *lol*) you should try theese out! I have reconstructed how I made the bookmark from the video - and created some new ones, along with a little tutorial I hope you can make sense of! :)
