I been much sick during summer and almost not set foot inside the craft room ... as i had a tough time with the influenza virus for more than 5 weeks. Still coughing! But this motif was an energybooster to make a card, such a cute and quirky girl! 🤪

Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads through a stencil. And the gold paper is actually a piece of scrap paper i rubbed Viva Decor gold wax on.
En stund siden sist det var aktivitet her i bloggen ~ har hatt litt mye å stri med de siste månedene ... familie, min egen og andres dårlige helse, og datatrøbbel... Prokrastinert å kjøpe ny laptop.. Den jeg ville ha ble plutselig borte fra markedet, og da den kom tilbake hadde den nye spesifikasjoner. Måtte lete på nytt etter 'drømme-laptopen' 🤔
Muligens funnet den, regner med å bli litt mere produktiv når jeg har kjøpt den, for ikke å snakke om ny kreativitet! Å tegne med blyant har vært for vondt for mine dårlige hender, så jeg håper å kunne bruke laptopen som digitalt tegnebrett og lage digistempler igjen!

It's been a while since it last was activity here on the blog ~ i have had a lot to deal with theese past months ... family, my own and others bad health, computer troubles ... Procrastinating buying a new laptop.. The one i wanted suddenly dissappeared from the market, and when it returned it came with new specifications i didn't like. A new search for my 'dream-laptop' then. 🤔
Possibly found it, and i hope i will be more productive when i finally buy it, and to get a creative boost as well! A digital drawing surface will enable me to make more digistamps out of my doodles ~ my hands has been too achy to grip a ledpencil for a very long time.
The snowman motif on my card i have drawn myself, and made into a digital stamp. But i also scanned the watercolored image, so that it can be printed out again and again as clipart! 'Doodle snowman with a heart PRE-COLORED'

I made a pocket for a gift card or money.
Stamps/Images: Digi Doodle Stamps by Tindaloo (or Tindaloo Digi Doodle Stamps) 'Doodle Snowman with a heart - PRE-COLORED'.
Papers: I used Neenah Solar white cardstock for my motif. Bazzill cardstock. Creotime cardbase. Panduro Hobby christmas papers, and heart sticker.
Embellishments: Kort & Godt ribbon.
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score & fold my cards. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75' and 'Polkadots edge' border punch. Panduro Hobby scalpel and self healing mat. Martha Stewart 'Flourish Edge' Punch.

Dies: Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Thinlits 'Nordic Winter'. CarlijnDesign Cutting dies 'Abstrakte Trekanter' (CDSN-0146 abstract triangles). Lawn Fawn '#LF772. Stitched Hillside Borders Cuts', and '#LF1923. Fancy Wavy banner'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Fiskars - Easy Action Softgrip Micro-Tip Scissors. Bonefolder. High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. 3D foam/mosegummi. Indigoblu 'Lancashire Rose' gilding flakes.
Techniques/Mediums: The snowman was cut out with my favorite scissors that dont hurt my hands, and a scalpel. Drew upon the squiggly lines of the scarf with Sakura gelly roll glitter gold pen, and highlighted some whites with gesso.
For the background i used an inlay technique, where i cut out the 'Nordic Winter' coverplate die in white and blue cardstock, added a sheet of adhesive behind the blue one. Then used the smaller white reindeer cutouts as puzzlepieces, and rubbed gildingflakes on top of the exposed adhesive.
Har hatt masse datatrøbbel siste ukene, blåskjerm og 'sakte-kino' på alle funksjoner ... hadde pc som var kjappere på 90tallet 😆 Laptop skjermen har ødelagte pixel ca.1x1cm på midten nå (selvfølgelig måtte det være på midten!), så det blir snart ny laptop - noe jeg egentlig har sagt nå i et over år... Men nå har jeg ikkenoe valg 😂
Den jeg hadde tenkt å kjøpe for et år siden var ikke mulig å kjøpe plutselig, og nå har det kommet en ny versjon - men uten tibehøret, som orginal pennen!.. Vil nemlig ha en 2-i-1 laptop der jeg kan tegne på skjermen også. Problemet er at jeg ikke klarer å bestemme meg for en annen type laptop - det er så mye å velge mellom 🤔

Congratulations on the day
I have had such trouble with my laptop the past weeks .. bluescreening and slowmotion on all functions ... i swear my pc back in the 90s were faster! Now my laptop has a ruined pixel about 1x1cm. in THE MIDDLE of the screen! Like .. ofcourse it had to be the middle 😆So now i need to put some speed into gettin a new laptop, wich i been procrastinating for over a year, as the 2-in-1 that i had my heart set on suddenly became unavailable. I had high hopes for the return of it, but it finally came, and with no accessories - like the original brand pen! And no way of gettin it? like WUT?! My biggest problem aint the money, that i already have saved up over the past couple years, but that i cannot make a choice of wich one to get now ... there are so many to choose from! 🤔
Gotta be a nice 2-in-1, touch / drawing screen like a ipad, but at the same time with power of a good gaming laptop and at least about 16 inches, preferrably silent (good fans) and 1TB or more storage. Pen included or available to buy alongside. Flexible on the rest lol 😂 Any suggestions?

Last weekend Bikuben held an online fb crop full of demonstrations and inspiration, and shopping discounts! (paid event, not made public) I made theese two birthday / congratulations cards with a good old favourite of mine ~ House-Mouse Designs 😊 High time i used some of my old papers and pre-printed decoupage/clipart pages, i got a huge box of 'em! Especially since I am expecting a huge package of new goodies soon, yay!

I deconstructed a box that was a container for one of my fave cheeses ~ Créme Chéri! (cherry cheese). Although i popped out the bottom and top cardboard circles of the box to decorate them better, it is not neccessary if u intend to color it up completely ~ Too see an early (old) tutorial i did on theese kinds of boxes, see here; Créme Chérie keepsake box! and also i made a christmas themed box here.
