Nostalgia Mermaid

Er litt på etterskudd med kortet mitt på grunn av en langvarig migrene, og bildene ble tatt litt slurvete så jeg fikk ikke helt frem at det er utrolig mye shimmer i fargene! I'm a day behind with my DT card for this fortnights challenge #195. at Creative Fingers, as I've had a longlasting migraine.. My photos were a bit off too, so just imagine that the yellow actually is a bright shiny gold and everything is all shimmery 😊

Stamps/Images: Ching-Chou Kuik 'Nostalgia' rubberstamp - Sweet Pea Stamps now a part of the Oriental Japanese Mermaid set of 4 digis stamps. Also from CCK at Sweet Pea Stamps 'The Seahorse' (Albert Einstein quote). Hero Arts 'MMH March 2019 kit' and 'MMH July 2020 kit' (diver, ruins and turtle).
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white and an unknown speciality teal cardstock. Studio Light 'BasisFD186' A4 paper. Prima Marketing inc. 'the Optimist coll. - Bloom' 12x12.
Embellishments: Panduro Hobby gold thread, blue/green mix of beads,  and gold glitter tape / washitape.
Tools:

I always use my Scor-Pal to score & fold my cards. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'. Martha Stewart 'Flourish Edge Punch'.

Dies: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Labels 39 Decorative Elements S4-454', and 'Labels 4 die S4-190'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. Rangers Glossy accents.

Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads, as well as some Inktense watercolor pencils from Derwent to watercolor the image. I needed the mermaids tail to be a little longer than the original image to fit my die frame so I doodled a little bit with a Pigma black felt tip micron marker pen.

The Moth Girl

Har jo lovet en bloggcandy her på bloggen, men det blir enda noen dager til.. Venter på en par pakker som det er noe oppi som skal i bloggcandyen, men ting tar jo ekstra lang tid nå i disse coronatider... Og når ting endelig kommer (alt etter om det er på døra eller på posten) så kan det ta lengre tid, siden jeg sjøl-isolerer og ikke har vært utafor huset på mange uker. Tar ingen sjangser her, siden både jeg og min mor som bor i etasjen over, er i høyrisiko gruppene. Heldigvis har jeg en bror som shopper, henter og bringer og setter fra seg ting på trappa til meg ♥ ♥ ♥

If you're on the lookout for my promised blogcandy, it's still a while to wait! Days, a week, I don't know. I'm self isolating so I haven't gone anywhere for many weeks now, during theese corona-times.. so unless it is a drop off door delivery, my brother does the shopping for me and fetching/sending post at the postoffice & stuff, leaving everything by the doo. Not taking any chances here, both me and my mum who lives upstairs, both are in high risk groups ♥ ♥ ♥

I added tape behind the cutout motif, the holes then had adhesive behind it, so I rubbed some gilding flakes into them for a nice metallic look!

Mermaids Magic Wish ~ Bookmark Tag

Jeg har ei niese som elsker havfruer, ikke så rart ettersom hun heter Ariel ♥ Denne tag'en tenkte jeg hun kan bruke som et bokmerke! Det er det jeg bruker mine tags til, leser mange bøker og blader og jeg hater 'eselører' ;)
Det var egentlig meningen jeg skulle lage denne til Ching Chou Kuiks fb gruppe, siden den var en freebie, men internett fjusket i går så da ble jeg for seint ute.. MEn blogges må den jo selfølgelig, ble veldig fornøyd med fargekombinasjonen her, Tim Holtz sine distress inks er sååå fine ♥ ♥ ♥ Gleder meg til å få tak på de nye DI Oxide blekkputene ~ for en effekt! Kjempelekkert ~ se videoen her ♥

A bookmark tag for my niece Ariel ~ who ofcourse is nuts about mermaids ♥
Sadly I was not able to enter my tag into the challenge it was created for ~ the digistamp was a CCK freebie, soOo pretty! But internet was out so I was not able to get it in until today. I added it to the CCK FB group anyways just to share, but ofcourse not entering the draw :)

I was very happy with my coloring on this, Tim Holtz distress inks are always just dreamy to paint with.. And did you see? On Creativation (CHA) he announced new Oxide inkpads!!! ♥ AWESOMENESS ♥ Cannot wait to get theese to play with :)
