Wicked Witch Bookmark

Trollmannen fra OZ er en av mine favoritt filmer, og jeg hadde boka også som barn. Da jeg malte dette motivet fra Sassy Studio Designs, så jeg for meg den Den onde heksa fra Vest ~ så det ble masse grønne fargetoner! :) 
Dette kortet er mitt bidrag som SSD gjeste-designer i oktober for denne ukens DTBST utfordring #305. ~ tema: 'Howling Good Time'.

The Wizard of Oz is one of my all-time fave movies, I had the book also when I was a kid, and I was very facinated by the The Wicked Witch of the West! So when I painted this witchy image to have on my Halloween themed bookmark, I went all green! :)

If you're wondering what book I'm reading, it's 'Sinner' 
by Maggie Stiefwater, a novel wich continue the story 
about Cole & Isabel from the Shiver Trilogy.

Stamps/Images: Sassy Studio Design 'BewitchedCameo'. Lazar StudioWERX Inc rubberstamp 'Funky Holidays' (swirl).

Papers: Bazzill criss cross cardstock. Digital element from Sweet Caroline Studio (The Digiscrap parade collab - The Scary Stuff megakit). And 'If the shoe fits' is a free Halloween Printable from balancinghome.com/printables.

Embellishments/Tools: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Labels 22'. Crafts Too Presscut 'Circle Nesting Dies PCD46'.
Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use! ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to watercolor and distress image and papers.

Råstilig monster stempel motiv, ikke sant? Akkurat i tide for Halloween! Men egentlig funker det vel året rundt, iallefall til en fantasy/scifi/horror fan som meg selv ~ the Walking Dead, Supernatural, Game of thrones, the Vampire Diaries, American Horror Story ++  er kjempefan av disse og mange flere. Og SSD er en av de få som har mange tøffe motiver i monster sjangeren!

Jeg er gjeste-designer denne måneden også for Sassy Studio Designs, og dette er mitt GDT bidrag til SSD's Oktober Progressive Utfordring, som foregår på facebook gruppa deres. .. som jeg nesten glemte av! Fant det ut helt i siste liten *puh*!
 
Om man deltar i denne utfordringen for første gang, mottar man et gratis digitalt stempel man bruker, og neste mnd. får man et nytt å bruke osv. hver mnd. Om man ikke bruker stemplet, må man kjøpe mnd. stempel for å være med igjen! Her er link til reglene :)

Isn't this a gorgeous spooky babe? She's a cross between all the coolest monsters, ghost, zombie, frankensteins bride and a bit mummy.. a real ghoul! Had such fun coloring her up, then forgot all about it as my migraines kicked in, and tonight I got a flashback that I had something to deliver ~ to the Progressive challenge at SSD's FB group for October.

If you parttake in the ch. for the first time, you get the digistamp for free, otherwise you can buy in if you missed a month. The progressive part is you using that image and you get the next months image for free as long as you keep playing :) Stop by for the next one in November! Rules are listed here.

I'm a GDT at Sassy Studio Designs this month too, so I'm not participating in the Prog.ch. only doing a show & tell of this awesome image..  which I almost didn't make the deadline for *phew* Rushing the layout as I have, I'm not completely satisfied with it... but very happy with the coloring, not a usual type of color combo this, with pale eyes and a zombie skintone ;)

The damask background is just sooo much more fab 'in real life', with a mica powder shine and made with clear embossing powder (all from Ranger) and Tim's DI 'Hickory Smoke', 'Black Soot', 'Stormy sky', 'Faded Jeans' & 'Broken China'.
