Rainbow Glitter Notebook

 

Har pyntet en notatbok fra Nille som mitt DT bidrag hos Creative Fingers #169., og malte den lille jenta i samme fargene som regnbue-glitter bakgrunnen. Motivet er fra vår sponsor Lemon Shortbread og som alltid har vi et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema. Velkommen skal du være ♥

I've decorated a rainbow glitter notebook for this fortnights challenge #169. at Creative Fingers. And I painted the adorable little girl in the same rainbow colors. The digistamp motif is from our sponsor Lemon Shortbread, and as always it is an 'Anything goes theme'. You are more than welcome to join with your creations ♥

Stamps/Images: Lemon Shortbread 'Polka Dot Raincoat' digistamp.

Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Rainbow glitter A5 Notebook from Nille. Designerpapers from DCWV 'The green stack' 12x12 70% recycled paper.
Embellishments: ...
Tools: Panduro Hobby scalpel and self healing mat.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: ...
Dies: Whimsy Shapeology 'Double Scallop Doily' 5" die. Crafts Too Presscut 'Circle Nest Dies PCD46'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Double sided tape. 3D foam/mosegummi. High-Tack Double Sided Red Tape (Red Liner/Stix2/Miracle tape). Hero Arts lacquer pen (clear glue).

Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor the image. And as you can see I cut a circle in my book with scissors as my Big Shot won't fit the whole A5 book, using one of the circle dies as a template. Then the frame is buildt using multiple circle dies :) I used Ranger Micro Glaze on the image, as it is going to be on a notebook - and now the image is waterproof! Jungle card & Blogcandy winner!

Med den hetebølgen som har vært har det ikke blitt mye scrapping og blogging på meg, trives ikke så godt i varme og sol.. morsomt da at jeg legger inn et kort der det nok er varmt som i en jungel! ;)

With the heatwave thats been hanging around for a while now seems to be past and the temperature dropped to a more comfortable level for me to craft and get some blogging done, here is funnily enough a card with a hot jungle theme! :)

Stamps/Images: MMH June 2019 kit stamps. .

Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'. Marvy Uchida round corner punch.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: ...
Dies: Hero Arts 'DI650 Jungle Frame Fancy Die F' addon, and co-ordinating dies for the MMH June 2019 kit. The 'Hello' & 'Hugs' dies is from the MMH March 2018 kit. Nellie Snellen 'Magic Stamping Card Die Set - Heart'. Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Curved Rectangles S5006'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. Gluedots. Sookwang Scor-pal Double sided 5" tape. Aleene's original tacky glue. Tonic Studios crystal drops 'Glossy Ebony black'.

Techniques/Mediums: I use Versafine Onyx black inkpad for all my stamping. I used Distress Oxide Ink pads to make a blended background. Wilted Violet, Fired Brick, Candied apple, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized amber. I spritzed the background with a mister spray filled with water and Ranger Perfect Pearls powder. Tombow black mono drawing pen to doodle some sketchy lines, and Signo white pigment pen for details on the tiger.
