Stamps/Images: Rick St. Dennis digistamp 'TimBukTu 2015'. Hunkydory For the Love of Stamps clearstamp sets - 'Brighten your Day', 'Blossoming Birdcage' and 'Chase your Dreams'. All Night Media 'Dragonfly' rubberstamp.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. No designerpapers this time!
Embellishments: Panduro Hobby pink mix sequins.
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75', and an inverted corner punch. Panduro Hobby scalpel and self healing mat.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: Hero Arts 'MMH December 2017 Arabian Nights kit' stencil. Die-cutting Essentials magazine feb.2016 Special Edition embossingfolder.
Dies: Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson 'Festive Frames 2018 - Eve CED3151' and 'Frames and Tags Collection - Sophia CED4346'. Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 5PK 'This & That - Charming by Echo Park'. Spellbinder Nestabilities 'Fleur De Lis Squares' die.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. Gluedots. 3D foam/mosegummi. Double sided tape, regular & high-tack red-liner tape. Rangers Glossy accents.
Techniques/Mediums:  I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. To heat emboss I used a Versamark inkpad, a heat gun tool & Rangers ink clear embossingpowder. The inksprays used are a Tsukineko walnut ink 'cherry blossom' spray, and a blue one that I made out of misc  distress inks, mostly 'salty ocean' + water + Ranger ink Perfect Pearls powder.

Congratulations & Mothers day

My birthday is next week and as usual I just have to take the chance to justify going wild with the visa and shop new goodies for myself ;) Up top is a photo of some of the stuff I got ♥ My preciouss! I have the best of times organizing, labeling, making color swatches, and ez-mounting n cutting the new rubbers!
And Oh, I LOVE the new Distress Oxide inkpads from Tim Holtz ~ so creamy and great to work with ♥ ♥ ♥

All my backgrounds has been made using the Oxides, with a smooshing and splatter technique. Below I have attempted to explain how you Dry emboss with diecuts, as it really helped me in coloring in the 'holes' in the butterfly diecut. But if you go to youtube and watch any of theese fab tutorials by Jennifer McGuire (goddess of scrapping!). You'll see how much you can be able to get out of the dies you have.

Such a cool way of using your dies! It's been years since I last did this, so I had to re-educate myself to make sure I didn't accidentally ruin any dies or the Big Shot. Now, there is a cheat sheet on the platform, but I like watching a technique before trying it, just in case ;)

I have 'ink smooshed' the circles, and the main motif has been watercolored in a galaxy/night sky then splattered/flicked on some stars with white acrylic paint (watered down) with an old toothbrush :)
