Dette stempeltrykket er et eksempel på at man kan fikse på feil man gjør! Det var kommet en grønn malings flekk i hennes gyldne blonde hår - og dermed var jeg på tur til å kaste det - men isteden fikk hun ravnsvart hår :) For å se hvordan det egentlig skulle sett ut, ett tidligere kort med dette trykket..

Clean & Simple Easter Card

StampARTic's utfordring er Påske kort med GULT + 1 annen farge som skal dominere. Grønt og gult er vel passe 'påskete'? Har ikke peiling på hvor mesteparten av stæsjet mitt er nedpakket - så jeg får kjøre en litt enkel stil en stund! :)
The April challenge at StampARTic is to make a Easter card where the main color are YELLOW + one color of your choice. Green & yellow looks pretty 'eastery' to me!

Today is the 5th of april and my 35th birthday! Also I have moved to a new place, (photos will be blogged someday soon!) and gotten some very important papers out of the way... And soon I'll have a brand new scraproom & time to make loads of new creations - and finally get this blog rolling again :) That calls for a celebration! WOW - has it really been such a long time since my last blogpost?! It didn't feel that long! I moved to a new apartment in november, actually the entire move took up most of october, november and december - and now we're well into the new year, and still not done getting a whole lifes accumulated stuff in it's place - or throwed away.. wich is the hard part!
I've always had a collectors heart - never throwing memorabilias away, so my new attic has been filled up - my brothers joking that I need a pillar in the livingroom so I won't get the contents of the attic in my head one day...

The christmas holidays came and I had a wonderful visit from one of my oldest best friends Annette - a jolly good time with a Dr.Who marathon .. and tons of good food - so now it's back to dieting - again! ;)
My cherished tomcat Tamlin had to be put to sleep, he was sick & it broke my heart, he's been my companion for 14 years so he will be missed! I get all choked up just writing about it.. ♥


And I STILL haven't gotten my scraproom in order.. I got hooked up with internet around newyears, but haven't felt like blogging since I haven't been scrappin' anything new - wich is difficult to do when I haven't a clue to where anything is, all boxed up and stowed away...

Looking forward till springtime - then my scraproom will get all my attention! It's outdoors kindof, a storage shed 2x2 meters big, and connected to the house. But it's gotten new panels on the walls and roof, and laminated floortiles(?). And when my youngest brother Kevin - the electrician in the family finally has the time, he'll fix it up with lightfixtures and electricity in there. Then the fun can begin! Decorating and creating the perfect scraproom :)

Until then though I have been able to dig up my vintage ink pads and aquarelle paints, and a bunch of stamped motifs - so I am painting until I can get scrappin' again! BUT - in the meantime, I think I have some stuff to give away soonish - my birthday is coming up, and to say sorry for neglecting my bloggerfriends for so long - I'll be having a blogcandy! Sounds good? :)

Cherry Blossom ♥ card

Ja her i bloggen har det vært stille! Skal flytte snart og for tiden er hele huset et eneste kaos med pappesker overalt og rundtomkring... Har kastet masse på reno-vest, og sendt avgårde på brukthandelen, bøker og filmer og ditt & datt - og enda vises det nesten ikke! *hehe* Har nok akkumulert en del ting ja.. og må vel innrømme en viss samlemani! ;) Men det skal bli SÅ deilig når jeg endelig har dekorert og ordnet alt slik jeg vil ha det! Kommer nok til å gå mest i brunt, caffe latte, vaniljefarger og duse varme grønn-toner, og litt 'gammel' stil. Mye koseligere enn sånn modernistisk sort og hvite blanke flater *grøss*

Fikk litt tid å lage ett kort innimellom. 'Tenk Rosa' er utfordringen fra Scrap-Creations, og #38. hos Paper Sundaes var bare å finne noe nedi scrappe-stæsjet å bruke... det ble dette bling-hjertet som jeg ikke hadde klart å bruke før nå - det bare passet så godt inn! ♥
Long time - no bloggin'! :) I'm moving house, and have a hard time getting rid of stuff I've gathered through the years... too much sentimental reasons for me to keep things... and way to little space in my new house! *lol* But I'm SO looking forward to moving, I think I'll be very happy there - and yes, photos to come in a couple months!
I got some time to make this card - with a beautiful stamp by Elisabeth Bell for Susanas Custom Art & Card Design - SCACD Stamps. And I was thinking pink & love all the way with this - since the challenge at Scrap-Creations is to THINK PINK - with this month being Breast cancer Awareness month and all! ♥ And for Paper Sundaes #38. I rummaged through my stash and found some bling I've been hesitant to use.. when it's used it's gone, right? :)

What's this?

En av mine absolutte favorittfilmer er Nightmare before Christmas fra Tim Burton. Jeg har tilogmed en kjempestilig byste av Jack, og det fulgte med en nisselue jeg bruker putte på hodet hans innimellom, og når det er jul! ♥ Kjempeherlig film :)
Var så heldig og fant The Nightmare Before Christmas stempler hos Stamp it Crazy - og måtte selvfølgelig ha dem!!! Har ønsket meg sånne i flere år men aldri sett noen før nå :) Kortet mitt passer til utfordring #6. hos Lollipop Crafts - som er 'monstre og sånt'.

The most übercool movie ever! I luv the Nightmare before Christmas - and I probably got almost all of Tim Burtons dvd's - as well as my favourite decorative object in my livingroom - Jack Skellington himself! It even come with a little sandyclaws hat wich I put on him every now and then - and especially for xmas ;)

I've searched for rubbers with motifs from the movie for ages - but now I finally found them! Stamp it Crazy is the place to shop for Jack :) My card is entered in Lollipop Crafts challenge #6. Monsters & Such - but personally I think Jack is not much of a monster, he's just the most adorable skeleton I know & certainly unique! ♥

Den nye utfordringsbloggen Oldie but a goodie, går ut på å bruke dine gamle stempler! It was my younger brother Stein's birthday today - the middle one. And I hope he liked his card :) The norwegian stamping-magazine Ett Trykk has a challenge for August on their blog, wich is to be inspired by the colorpallette: beige, brown and two blue-grey shades.

Unicorn Stenciled card!

På Totally Stampalicious denne gang er det kun ett 'lag' papir - altså bilde/stemplet direkte på kortet! Absolutt ikke så enkel oppgave som det høres ut! Og ikke lov til max ett par små pynteting... Jikes! Jeg har aldri fått bruk for disse stencilene av enhjørninger før nå! Crafty Catz utfordring #45. er ganske enkelt 'Dyr', og fra da av var kortet unnagjort på noen få minutter - ikke inkludert tørketiden da.. ;)

Tough challenge this time at Totally Stampalicious - but I was determined to try! Quote: The card itself must be one layer and you may use one or two small embellishments such as ribbon, a flower or a brad! And I chose a Unicorn stencil since Crafty Catz' had one of my favourites themes to do #45. Animals!

Embellishments: Norsk Stempelblad / Ett Trykk sorte Rubons 'Venner'. Crystal stickers from a bookstore, or maybe Nille. To stencil the unicorn I used Tim Holtz' Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool & Foam, and the Distress ink-pads - 'Vintage Photo' & 'Aged Mahogany' + a drop from the retired Ranger Vintage Scented Ink-refill bottle 'Pumpkin Pie'. *Mmm* Smells Yummy - and the color was perfect!
