Blowing Bubbles

http://creativefingerschallengeblog.blogspot.no/

My House-Mouse card is DT inspiration for this fortnights challenge #187. at Creative Fingers wich is kindly sponsored by our DT Angelique with a fab stamp set! As always it is an 'Anything goes theme', and you are more than welcome to join with your creations ♥

I've been having much back aches lately, so I made it easier on myself using a pre-colored decoupage sheet a sweet house-mouse motif! Always good to have ready-to-go images in your stash.

Do check out my new blogcandy here ~ double the fun!

the little House-Mouse motifs are so adorable! Did you know they've been around since 1980? Ellen Jareckie is the artist who draws her pets in a whimsical and adorable way, not just mice, but rabbits, cats, dogs, birds n pigs among the creature motifs. Click here < If you want to see a youtube video about Ellen and her art!

Some of first & oldest stamps, some 20+yrs old, are of theese cute mice ♥ Oh, I really need to get out some to ink up soon... Hah! Well, I will try! If you've followed me a while, u know I constantly promise myself that I shall give my old stamps more love instead of only using the newest purchases ;)

So.... Regarding the new blogger.. the text editor looks okay I guess, but there is a major flaw! You cannot wrap text around a photo by simply dragging the photo left or right inside the text anymore.. Neither have they added an alignment tool for wrapping text around an image in the menu. I had to revert back to old blogger just to put the back photo of my card (see bottom of this post) where I wanted it. I really hope the blogger team listens! I found this thread about it here. Not too happy about the way the menu on the right looks, with the tags and publish date.. the tags display too large a font so you can only see a few while your working on your blogpost, and you have to click on the dropdown menu for the date for it to show. On the old editor you could see it all. Oh well, I'll get used to this editor after a while I guess, but that wrap around text HAS to be fixed. I've already complained to their help desk about it! ;)
...

Have a great summer & Stay Safe everyone!

  7. Cute House Mouse card. I love the die cut you used around the image and how you stamped the little house mouse feet on it. They look fun on the inside of the card as well. Great blue gingham paper. I love that. Do dig out more of your older House Mouse. I'd love to see them. {Bunny} Designer for House Mouse and Friends
