Vintage card ~ in stitches!

  

Kortet mitt er DT bidrag hos Creative Fingers #164., og det flotte motivet er fra vår sponsor Morgan's ArtWorld. Som alltid har vi et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema, og velkommen skal du være :) Holdt faktisk på å ødelegge hele kortet når jeg skulle sy rundt sirkel rammen, alt var allerede limt på frontpanelet 
O.o Papiret revnet siden tråden og nåla var for tykk, men jeg fikk det heldigvis fikset med en tynn sirkel diecut plassert oppå.. Var nok en smule klønete å starte på det rett etter en heidundrene migrene :P

My DT card for this fortnights challenge #164. at Creative Fingers has a gorgeous girl motif from our sponsor Morgan's ArtWorld. She looked so fierce that I found a dragon background to match her smouldering eyes! I had such trouble with the stitching.. originally I stitched around the frame ~ but the paper frayed because the needle & thread was way too thick, and I thought the card was all ruined!  
O.o But I luckily fixed it with a narrow frame diecut on top to cover the mess.. Probably shouldn't have started stitching right after a humongous migraine :P

Did you watch the second semi finale of Eurovision last night? So proud of Keino our norwegian artists with 'Spirits in the sky' ~  a fantastic song! I have only a couple top fave choices for winner this year ♥ the other is Chingiz 'Truth' Azerbaijan, awesome vocals! Both went through! Exiting too see what happens in the finale, best of luck! :)

Stamps/Images: Morgan's ArtWorld 'Cameo 14' digistamp.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. 7 Gypsies 'Gypsy Market' 6x6 paper pad.
Embellishments: Basic grey 'Hang 10' basic elements coordinating fiber ribbon. DoCrafts Paper Mania 'Shimmer Dome stickers - Gold'. Prima Marketing inc. 'Artful Collage' flowers. Panduro Hobby cream white & brown beads.
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'. ProvoCraft Silent Setter tool.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine #148. 'Beautiful Rose' embossingfolder.
Dies: Crafts Too - Presscut 'Circle Nesting Dies PCD46'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. Gluedots All Purpose. Double sided tape. High-Tack Double Sided Red Tape from Stix2.

Techniques/Mediums:  I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Viva Decor Inka Gold wax 'Gold'. I used a thick needle and my silentsetter to punch holes, then made some really bad stitching on my card! *lol*
