Time flies...

..Worlds best Dad..

A very masculine card today, with some of my new stamps from VLVS ~ they got a whole lot of motifs for the more vintage and 'rough' types of projects. Sometimes it seems the crafting world is overflowing with cute and pretty ~ it is such a relief to go grungy once in a while! ;)

I enter my card in theese fab Challenges: [Ends on]
Viva Las VegaStamps ~ Aug. Inspiration image > [Aug. 31st.]
The Male Room #17. ~ Stash: Use Newsprint! [Aug. 31st.]
The Artistic Stamper ~ August Anything goes
[Aug. 31st.]
Stamps & Stencils ~ Time Flies [Sept. 2nd.]
Morgans ArtWorld #6. ~ For the Men! [Sept. 10th.]
Simon Says Wedn. ~ Anything goes (3rd.) [Sept. 2nd.]
Chocolate Coffee & Cards #98. ~ Use a sentiment [Sept. 3rd.]
Papertake Weekly Take Your Pick ~ Technique: Vintage/Distressing [Aug. 31st.]
As You like it ~ Favourite Layout [Sept. 9th.]
I like using this kind of layout, just a square card & image framed in the middle, no fuss about it! And very often doing three embellishes in a row.

EDIT: I won a prize from Sweet & Sassy at As You like it!

  2. I love this card it is so grungy, masculine and fab. I struggle with male cards though and find girly, cute ones so much easier, I think it's because as you said there are more embellishments and papers to choose from in the feminine styles. Love the stamps you have used and your newsprint paper.
