Pool Time Shaker Card

Jeg har visst fått en forkjærlighet for Simply Betty stempler i det siste, men de er jo bare helt skjønne ~ og denne karen er perfekt for et sommerlig kort! Det er flere år siden sist jeg har lagd et shaker kort, og måtte lete lengelenge for å finne noe å putte oppi ~ tilslutt tok jeg et smykke jeg vet jeg ikke kommer til å bruke, og vips shaker-kort! :) 

I seem to do alot of Simply Betty Stamps cards lately, but who could blame me.. they are so frickin' CUTE! ♥ ♥ ♥ I really enjoyed coloring up this sweet summer boy :)

My Top Tip: Re-use old jewellery, or buy cheap when on sale, necklaces and earrings etc. and use them in your crafting! I didn't find any sequins or shaker pearls to fit my card colors today, so instead I gave an unused necklace a new life! I even re-used the clear plastic off a Spellbinder packaging, it was a bit thick so it was hard to get through the embossing in my Big Shot, so look for thinner plastic for shaker-windows if u plan to emboss! 
Instead of throwing out in the trash those empty plastic casings, save them ~ it's even great to store ez-mounted stamps on clear plastic! No need to shop for all of your crafting supplies ;)

Stamps/Images: Simply Betty Stamps - Teen Scene Summer 'Pool Time Miller'. Kreativ Hobby text stamp 'sommer rundt stempel' and also the checkered background stamp is KH. Magnolia 'BakgrundsSwirl Bröllup'.

Papers: Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. We R Memory Keepers - White Out coll. 'Frenzy/Passion'.

Embellishments/Tools: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Labels One' and Grand Dies 'Labels One'. Crafters Companion 'Petite Dot' 6x6 Embossing Folder. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'. Washi tape from Nille. The clear plastic is from the packaging of some spellbinders dies. Misc beads re-used from jewellery.
 
Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use! ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. 
I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Glossy accents, 3D/Fun-foam and Miracle tape.
