Circe Lounging with Lion... Aslan? :)

Har forresten begyndt å merke kortene jeg lager på en litt annen måte ~ med navnet mitt på tvers over bildet/stemplet, for å beskytte produsenten først og fremst, men også for å unngå at noen 'tyvlåner' kortene mine uten å si fra og later som de er deres... o_O Det har faktisk skjedd!

This image is named 'Circe Lounging with Lion and Flowers' and is from the greek mythology ~ but it may as well be the lion Aslan in the Chronicles of Narnia with Susan! I had a real flashback to the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe while painting ♥ One of my favourites authors is C.S.Lewis, and I added a quote inside from one of the books;

Tomorrow is the 17th. of May wich is our (Norway) national holiday. And this year it's extra special as we're celebrating 200 years as a nation! I'm going away for the weekend ~ and really hope the weather is good! Knock on wood.. ;)

By the way, I have begun adding watermarks across the stamp/images to better protect my design and mostly to protect the artists! It is a shame how much stamp-theft there's going on online.. especially on Pinterest! "..Colored images from crafters' blogs are now being pinned to Pinterest and being used by some people as clip art and printables!" quote from Stamp Out Stamp Theft Facebook page. Sad that one have to take such measures!

Embellishments/Tools: Martha Stewart 'Flourish Edge Punch'. Sense selfadhesive border. Nille Memories epoxy stickers & heart sticker. QK/Lifestyle Crafts 'Nesting Doily Squares' die. In wich I cut a square frame with my scalpel knife. 
I used misc. Twinkling H2o's and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to watercolor and distress image and papers.
