Jeg simpelthen elsker dette stemplet! Søk på 'Steven' i bloggen min ~ så ser du hvor mye *lol*  :) Et veldig enkelt kort til meg å være ~ passer ikke med så mye stæsj til guttekort... Men masser av tøffe maskuline stempler på kortet veier opp for fraværet av stæsj ;)

Siden dette var et staffeli konfirmantkort lagde jeg en pengelomme på innsiden, som i de aller fleste kort jeg lager til spesielle anledninger ~ helst litt diskré, i tilfelle det ikke blir en pengegave.

Kom heim for noen dager siden, kjempesliten etter et 14'dagers opphold på Kurbadet i Tromsø - i Rygg-gruppa :) Var veldig bra da - mye trening i basseng og med diverse apparater. Fysioterapi og foredrag. Minuset var at det gikk på fisk og vegetar - jeg som vanligvis spiser kjøtt sånn 4-5 ganger i uka, og ikke er spessielt glad i fisk ;) Men jeg var positivt overrasket over flere av vegetar-rettene, med soya'kjøtt'! 

Hadde med meg malesakerne og laptoppen - men fikk liten tid til å gjøre mye utav det, var så sliten etter dagens opplegg at det ble tidlig til sengs hver kveld... Helgene var jeg og brukte opp alle pengene mine nedi byen, gikk på Egon's og spiste pizzabuffet, og besøkte søskenbarnet mitt Ingar ♥

I've been away for 14 days stay at Kurbadet in Tromsø, the North-Norways Rehabilitation centre. Not a drug-rehab *lol* but a rehab for people with health problems like me, as rheumatic illnesses, bad backs and fibromyalgia and so on. There were daily fysiotherapy sessions, training in the gym, and swimmingpool training. Loved it there - even if there was only vegetarian/fish meals - and I'm a big carnivore ;) 
On the weekends I went by bus downtown (Tromsø is a large city with tons of shops to spend away all my money in) and got the pizza-buffet at Egon's... *Yummy!* And my cousin lives in Tromsø, so I got to visit him and his girlfriend and relax a bit there - Sofa - pepsi max - taco - a movie! = Heaven :)

I  didn't have much time for coloring the stamped motifs and tags I had with me, or use the internet on my laptop - hence my abscence from the blog - but I did make this tag for halloween! (didn't get it in the facebook challenge though - so I missed out on this months freebie at Simply B.. gonna buy in next month if I know I'll have time).

Doctor Who Christmas!

Det var ikke uten grunn at forrige innlegg refererte til favorittserien min, Doctor Who! Tenkte jeg skulle starte gjenreisingen av bloggen med å legge ut noen kort fra jula i fjor ;) Doctor Who er en av de få tv-seriene (og jeg ser maaange serier) som jeg kan se gang på gang og aldri gå lei. 

Kortet til høyre (øverst) er ikke fra noen tv-serie, men et bilde av kunsteren Brigit Ashwood. En 'Babe' til en nevø, den andre nevøen har jeg lykkes i å gjøre Doctor Who fan av, ergo et Tardis kort! ♥ Og til ei god venninne, også rekruttert til who-universet ~ a silent christmas!

It was not without reason I referred to Doctor Who in my previous entry, as I planned on blogging theese rather special christmas cards. I'm a real sci-fi nerd and have recruited both family members and friends to the universe of Doctor Who ♥ With a computer meltdown (mostly salvaged though) health issues as well as struggling with low energy ~ theese cards (and more coming) have all been forgotten about, since I've neglected my blog for more than a year... So I got oodles of creations to blog, as well as a blogcandy coming up this month :)
The two cards up top went to my nephews (the one on the left, up top, not of any tv-series, but a fab image of artist Brigit Ashwood).

Bloggen min har nå ligget her på webben og samlet imaginært spindelvev i over ett år ~ og uten å gå i detaljer så har energien som var vekk kommet tilbake i det siste, og jeg synes tiden er inne for å åpne den opp igjen! Jeg kommer til å ha en RAK om ikke så alltfor lenge for å feire en ny giv ~ og som takk til alle som fremdeles følger med på bloggen min! ♥

Yes, it's true ~ I'm back! :)

And no, much as I wish, I haven't been whisked away by a mad man in a blue box all this time, but wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey stuff did happen, and without oversharing ~ I haven't had the energy to keep the blog up and running. But that doesn't mean I've boxed up my creative urges! Now and then I've been scrappin' and making cards, and I've taken pics of it all, so it will show up in my blog anyday now, as well as new creations! :)

 

But I must not forget to thank you all for sticking by the blog, all of my followers and stalkers ~ I will be having a sweet blogcandy this month, to say thanks & celebrate me coming out of hibernation ♥

Huff, for en nitrist sommer...  Tror jeg kan telle på hendene de dagene det har vært sommervarme og de dagene har ikke vært sammenhengende! Dermed har det ikke blitt noen turer rundt om i distriktet, og sørover - som planlagt. Ikke mye moro å dra på ferie i grått vær og nesten-vinter-temperaturer! :( Har hatt et par fine dager nå med varme og sol, tett tåke til tross som kommer om kvelden og ligger til midt utpå dagen..

 This summer vs. Last summer down by the dock *sigh*

It has been a downright depressing summer - since the month of may until now, we've had probably nine or ten really great summer days with temperatures of 22 celsius and up - but that doesn't make for happy times as they came seperated by grey weather, rainstorms (feels like late autumn/fall), consistantly below 10 degrees celsius ... and even though theese last couple of days has been sunny and warm - there is the darn fog creeping up in the evening and doesn't go away until mid-day! So the worst summer in years has really hampered our plans for taking small excursions around the district, as well as the longer vacation trip driving south in Norway, cancelled I guess. Don't think it will get any better either... well I can always wish & hope! ;)

En av de digistempel skaperne jeg har dilla på for tiden er Saturated Canary 's Krista sine nydelige jenter, som denne søte vikingebærta! :)
Har ikke jeg en tøff bror? Sjekk denne artikkelen på VOL ~ hadde faktisk aldri trodd han skulle klare dette, og resten av familien, venner og kjærestn trodde det samme, men han trådde til og klarte det utrolige! Det er vel kansje litt Vikingblod i årene?! :) 

My brother Kevin have recently made an amazing trip by bike ~ With no form of training other than the occasional walking the dog and one testrun with his new bike & gear, just a week before this 70 mile long trip!!! Well, there's viking-blood in his veins I reckon ;) 

It's no secret that I have lots & lots of digi-stamps, Saturated Canary's Krista is one! I Luv her blog as well as the great images she creates ~ this viking-girl is really one of the coolest, and perfect for us in scandinava! Go check out the SC shoppe & be amazed! :)
