Now back to my card! I LOVe this gorgeous doodle flower I got to ink up from our generous sponsor this week at Creative Fingers ~ Dilly Beans! Our challenge this time #34. is as always Anything Goes, with an optional twist this week of Dry and/or Heat Embossing! You are most welcome to join in!

I used embossing powder all over my doodleflowers as u can tell by the shiny photo! The images is easily shaped and curved while still warm, and ofcourse when heat embossed the images stands out so much more! :)

I used Panduro Hobby transparent embossing powder, and a heatgun on the flowers. Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads n markers, and some Twinkling H2o's, to color and distress image and papers.

Oi! Glemte nesten å legge inn dette kortet før fristen gikk ut på et par av utfordringsbloggene ~ glad vi ligger noen timer bak USA ;) Har hatt migrene og er litt døgnvill.. Gikk nesten glipp av en gratis-porto-kupong også ~ enda jeg bruker ha sånt nedskrevet ved dataen, i tilfelle kjøpelysten tar overhånd *hehe* 
Har så mye stempler at det tyter ut av skuffer og skap! Skal legge ut en del for salg på scrapping.no om noen uker, må bare rydde litt mere ~ og elle melle mellom de jeg egentlig ikke trenger, og de jeg bare MÅ beholde, sånn i tilfelle!!! Noen som kjenner seg igjen?

Oh my! My migrains has been disturbing my sleep pattern, so I get confused what time and day it is! Or... maybe there's a weeping angel lurking here somewhere? *jikes!* Almost made me forget to post my card today (tonight) luckily still a few hours ahead of USA, it's very handy when it comes to blog challenges that! ;) 

And yes, I am still playing around with my blue and green inks! Promise I'll change it up for my next card! *lol*
I wrote at length about the Gelli plate on this post here ~ video links ++ And I'm totally in love with this tool! I used it to create my background, wich is masked and used alot of different techniques on, like mixed media with stencils and paste! Fun Fun Fun!

I'm really on a roll with the greens and blues!!! Had rummaged through my scrap-room for hours for the previous cards I made, so my desk was full of papers and embellies in lovely bright colors, seemed a shame to put them all away before playing some more with the brighter spectrum of my T.Holtz distress inks! ;)

Techniques: Most often I use Aquarelle paper from Canson Montval (200 g/m coldpressed). I use my Twinkling H2o's and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads n markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. I used a punchinella for a mask, and my new Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tools. And also the Distress Marker Spritzer! It creates a cool airbrush effect on your project, and also comes in handy to dispel water every-wich-way! Take a look here on You-tube for lots of videos on this handy tool, and here Scrap-Time has a demo from Tim on the mini blending tools.. It's just... AWESOME! No harshly squared lines! :)

AuroraWings Rose Fairy in Green & Blue!

Vanligvis er det vintage & de myke jordfargene som gir meg inspirasjon, men i det siste har jeg fått dilla på Tim's nydelige grønne og blå distress inks ~ peacock feather, mowed lawn, salty ocean, evergreen bough (fra sesong fargene). Har brukt disse og noen flere + mine twinkeling H2o's for å få litt glans ~ alle feer må jo ha litt glitter!  :)

Usually it is the vintage & soft earthy tones that gives me inspiration to color and craft. But lately I've been having tons of fun playing with Tim's gorgeous green & blue distress inks from the seasonal packs ~ peacock feather, mowed lawn, salty ocean, evergreen bough. 
I've used theese to ink up my image n card, as well as other distress inks & my twinkeling H2o's to add some sparkle... All fairies need some glitter right?! :)

I really wanted to do a boy card and with this digi ~ and I struggled a bit with adding pearls to it... a bit unusual to go with a boy-theme, but at least they are blue! *lol* :)
Had some new cogs-dies too from Sissix that I wanted to play with ~ perfect for boys or steampunk cards I think.

My background paper is done with a brayer and different colored inkpads ~ on a Gelli Plate! I'm totally hooked on this new technique, after seeing this video by Lavinia Stamps on youtube 'Card creations using the Gelli Plate', I knew I just had to buy one. It arrived recently, and I've made lots of fun backgrounds ~ wich will end up on cards soon :) Gelli Arts have their own channel on youtube with tutorials on how to use the gel plate. And this lady ~ Patti Parrish ~ has some very cool techniques that I'll try out sometime (she's very entertaining too!).

Usually I have had 'sandpaper-fingers', I've could have been a cat-burglar with fingerprints almost vanished *lol* But this tool is awesome for all your distressing needs! Highly reccomend it - I got mine at Joanna Sheen.

Ble veldig fornøyd med dette kortet ~ prøvde nemlig noe 'nytt'! La selve base-kortet gjennom cuttlebuggen med en 12" die ~ som var vanskelig nok ettersom jeg har en vanlig liten str. CB :) Brukte washi-tape for å feste diesen, og lot den få to omganger gjennom, og jeg fikk et kort med en åpen midt-del! Brukte gullfarget gavepapir som jeg limte et litt tykt hvitt ark på for å stive av, og limte inni kortet. Ble veldig stilig!

My Creative Fingers DT card this week has the lovely and mysterious 'Blanch' from our sponsor Delicious Doodles. If you want to join us in Challenge #26, it's always Anything Goes with an optional twist of 'Use a Brad'! :)

Was especially happy by how this card turned out! ~ My Cuttlebug is of the first version, so not really able to take 12" dies, but I managed by taping down the die (using removable tape/washi ofcourse) on the card base, and running the first half through, then the next. Use golden giftwrap paper wich I glued to white paper to stiffen up, and glued to the inside of the card. Love the look of it, so I'll certainly try that again :)
