DDCC #83. Anything Goes!

Utfordringen hos Dutch Dare Card #83. er 'hva som helst!', så jeg har laget to elvis presley kort! :) Det er så synd at Cornish Heritage Stamps butikken stenger - jeg har kjøpt disse og de nydelige Friendly Critters stemplene mine der! ♥


The challenge at Dutch Dare Card is #83.'Anything Goes', so I've made a couple of Elvis cards - and I'm very sad to see the Cornish Heritage Stamp store close - they have been my supplier of theese and friendly critters stamps ♥ I've sent in my last order, and I was lucky enough to get some of the stamps I've 'needed' in my collection. But what now? Where to get theese lines in the future? And what about the forums - will they dissapear? :( I so hope that the shop including the Elvis, critters, Kinkade etc. will be bought up and continued! Best wishes for Richard & Liz in their future endeavours. Have always received great service from them :)

Scraplyckan wedding card ♥

Dette er et bryllupskort jeg lagde til Carly-Ann og kjæresten Rob, som skal gifte seg den 7. August! ♥ Det er pga. en blogcandy hos Charizma Cardz, for jeg kjenner henne ikke - men jeg er følger av bloggen hennes :) Det var kjempekoselig å lage et bryllupskort til en forandring - og så fikk jeg prøvd ut både et nytt stempel og en ny spellbinders! *lol*
This is a wedding card especially created for Carly-Ann & her Rob ♥ because of a blogcandy I saw on Charizma Cardz. Had a lot of fun painting this image for the first time, and the frame dies is also new - gorgeous right? I've sent it off just yesterday, and with 10 days to go - I hope it makes it's way across the sea not too slowly :)

Jeg har jo 2års jubileum her, så jeg syntest det var på tide med en oppfriskning av blogg-bakgrunn og layout! Blir sikkert bedre å lese også for de med svære skjermer.. ;) Har også en BlogCandy gående tom. 31 aug. - 'klistret' fast i toppen av siden!
På denne utfordringen hos The Sugar Bowl #39., koste jeg meg ordntlig! En så utrolig fin skisse av Lilian - og jeg ble veldig fornøyd med fargene :)
I've refreshed my blog with new layout & background - probably not done yet though *lol* But I hope it's more readable for those with the big screens! :)
On Sugar Bowls challenge #39., we're to use Lilians awesome sketch. And the optional theme this time is to use something BLUE!

Har hatt problemer med å komme meg på nett i det siste - så det har blitt lite med blogging (surt når internett detter ut hele tia!) Lillebroren min har forhåpentligvis fixa tilkoblinga for siste gang nå (?) 'lol*
Men det er bra at jeg har fått lagd opp masse kort isteden for å dille på pc'n - skal nemlig ha min første salgsbod på Melbu torg under Markedskvelden imårra! *bite-negler* Er heldigvis ikke så lenge det varer (ryggen er ikke god..) 18:00-22:00. Sommertalenter 2010 skal kåres samme kvelden, så det blir sikkert moro å se på :)

En av favoritt nettbutikkene mine Bunny Zoe Crafts, har fått seg en utfordrings blogg :) Første ut er 'Snill og jentete' - sikkert flere oversettelser av 'Nice' - som pen og søt.. Tenkte på Sarah Kay's stempler da! Been a while since I blogged - have had a bit of trouble getting online, something wrong with the internet connection.. Hopefully all is well now, after my handy brother fiddled with it.. ;) But I've been very productive in making cards lately so I'll be adding some this weekend - if I'm not too tired!
Because tomorrow is the Summer-Marked evening on Melbu, and I'll be having my own booth there, selling my cards - I hope! Wish me good luck :)

Extra cute - Fairytale box!

Det var en gang... en proteinpulver box! That's just so cute bloggen kjører en ekstra utfordring - Extra Cute 9 - Eventyr! Midt i blinken for meg... Dro frem noen av mine favorittark og dobbelsidig tape - litt maling, og vips så var den støgge protein-pulver-boksen verdig ei prinsesse! ;) Boksen trenger ikkeno mere stæsj & bling - papiret glitrer og er vakkert nok i seg selv! ♥

Totally Papercrafts utfordring #18. var 'Monokromatiske farger'. Jeg brukte samme tutorialen som med det forrige konvolutt-kortet jeg lagde, kjempemoro å lage noe annet enn firkantige kort ;) Og siden dette ikke kan bli mere jentete i rosa - så passer det også til Quirky Crafts utfordring #29 - Girly Girl!
The challenge for Totally Papercrafts #18 is Monochromatic. And the Quirky Crafts challenge #29 is Girly Girl! Wich this is - made for a girl - and loads of Pink :) I made this after Anne's awesome Pixie Cottage envelope-card tutorial. The inside of the 'envelope-card' has a pocket in wich to keep a money-gift, as it's a card for a young girls traditional norwegian 'confirmation-day'.

The latest Challenge at Quirky Crafts is #28. Chocolate and Cream - as a colour theme! I LOVE this color combo! Keepin' it simple & chic this time. The gorgeous DP - wich I'm not sure of the name yet, and Tim Holtz always awesome distress inks are enough to make this card yummy for my nephews confirmation day!

I absolutely L♥VE the norwegian song for Eurovision Song Contest tonight! By Didrik Solli Tangen ♫ My heart is yours... Gorgeous! If however it doesn't go Norways way this year - here are my 9 other favourites this year:

UPDATE: Er litt smådeppa etter Eurovision showet på lørdag... Er det mulig? :( Skjønner ikke at så mange åpenbare talenter ble skjøvet helt til side når stemmene ble gitt! Didrik vaklet litt i begynnelsen, men naila resten av sangen, absolutt nydelig - og med den stemmeprakten hadde han fortjent en plass helt i toppen, om ikke førsteplassen! ♥ Jaja.. kommer til å kjøpe CD-plata alikevel - var mange flotte låter med der, og jeg bare later som om Didrik vant *lol* ;)

I'm so happy that Germany's Lena and "satellite" won, when Didrik's song didn't! It's been playing in my head the last couple of weeks ... "even painted my toenails for you".. :) I voted for her and for Iceland's Hera with "Je ne sais quoi", wich is also a very catchy song! But I'm very sad that Didrik (Norway) and Hera (Iceland) didn't get the european votes on saturday - I really don't get that so many obviously talented vocalists were shoved to the bottom - even Niamh from Ireland! ... it's just that ballads seems to be 'out' this year! But I'll be buying the CD anyways - overall GREAT show this year, I have loads of new favourite songs! ♥

Confirmation Envelope card

Color Throwdown #94. utfordrer med hele fem forskjellige farger - mitt konvolutt-kort har vel heller sparsomt med blått, men men ;) Jeg hadde det kjempemoro med å lage mitt første konvolutt-kort til min nevøs konfirmasjon! Jeg fant denne fine tutorialen her hos Anne, som er DT hos the Pixie Cottage! :)
The challenge for Color Throwdown #94. is to use this color palette - wich I have to a degree... There's all the yummy colors - even the blue, at least a little on the cork & bird! *lol* I made the envelope-card after I found Anne's awesome tutorial for the Pixie Cottage.

The inside of the 'envelope-card' has a pocket in wich to keep a money-gift. I've used the 'smudge' tool on the handwritten message if u wondered why it looked weird ;)

I pierced the flourished paper, folded and swept a brown cats eye chalk pad over the folds - so it looked like faux stitching :)

Har lagd et litt annerledes prosjekt til Sukkersött #84. Denne ukens utfordring lyder som følger: Lag et prosjekt med 3-D effekt. Var kjempemoro å finne på noe 'nytt'!

The norwegian challengeblog Sukkersött is asking for a project with 3-D effect for #84. And I had lots of fun getting an idea in my head, and then working out how to do it! :)

Gorjuss Sitting - in Pink!

Utfordringen hos The Sugar Bowl #35. er ei skisse av Marlene. Og temaet var 'gjenbruk'. Ble ikke spesielt fornøyd med dette kortet - rosa og pastell er virkelig ikke min smak.. men småjenta som sikkert får kortet blir nok happy! ;)
For the challenge at the Sugar Bowl #35., we're to use the sketch by Marlene, as well as recycle something. In my card I have used leftover paper scraps, a damaged white flower I've cut to make leafs, and the stamp-motif is printed on back of an old watercolor painting I no longer think is any good ;) I've also rotated the sketch, as I thought that it looked better with the motif ;)

Helt utrolig... for et fantastisk hell!!! Jeg ♥ELSKER♥ Dr.Who, så jeg tenkte 'hvorfor ikke' da Programbladet hadde en konkurranse der man skulle skrive hvem som spiller Dr.Who.. Det var jo selvfølgelig et feil stilt spørmål - for det er ikke bare èn Dr.Who! Så jeg skrev (siden premien var den nye Dr.Who serien Sesong 1-4!), om de mente den 9'ende doktoren - Christopher Eccleston, den 10'ende - David Tennant ♥ min favoritt!, eller han som spiller Dr.Who akkurat nå - doktor nr.11 - Matt Smith... It's absolutely bloody FANTASTIC!!! I got this amazing box-set in the mail some days ago, & I WON it! I love Dr.Who, so when the TV-guide I subscribe to - Programbladet, had a contest with the question: Who plays Dr. Who? I just had to answer it :) I ofcourse thought the question was too narrow - because there been loads of doctors.. But there's three in the new series - wich was the prize! №9. Christopher Eccleston. №10. David Tennant ♥ My Fave! And the newest dr. №11. Matt Smith, from series 5. Don't know why I won though - just luck, pity the fan, or 'cause of the cute hippo on the envelope *lol* The wallpaper below is dr.who - David Tennant with his companion Rose - Billie Piper :)
