One creative week! :)

Ett kort - to kort - tre kort... osv....

I have several more cards to share - I've been on a creative roll, and I've truly enjoyed all theese challenges! And I have more on the way... The 'main-ingredients' of the cards can be found at the bottom of this post :)

Truly Scrumptious #2. Wednesday.
A wonderful sketch this time, as well as: 'some handmade buttons on your card.'
Daily Art Stop - Challenge Wednesday.
This week is to be inpired by lucky charms!
Charisma Cardz #10. Thursday.
With the theme 'Something for the Guys!'

Cute Card Thursday #51.
Another great sketch, and the theme of celebration - as the blog is one year old! Happy Birthday CCT!

Sukkersött Utfordring #32. Friday. (A norwegian challenge blog).

Supply list for the cards other than bazzill cardstock:..
Truly Scrumptious: I made the buttons with the inside hole of a flower qk die, used my silentsetter to make holes, and after inking them I used glossy accents. And the ribbon is from Basic Grey - Sophie fibers. The stitch stamp is from adornit, text is a stamp from Rhonna farrer. Papers are from Your crafts beautiful - got them free in a crafts magazine. Also Cuttlebug emb. Tiny bubbles, and the stamp is from Penny black - Critter Party clearstamp set.

Charisma: Penny Black stamp - Party Animals, Swirly stamp is 'Bakgrundswirl bröllup' from Magnolia. Noteworthy diecut journaling paper from M.M. American Crafts ribbon. The round chipboard I have gotten from a swap, so I don't know where it's from.

Cute Card: The heart is from Prima The Goods - heart stamp one. 'Love' is a stamp from Autumn Leaves - Rhonna Farrer. The cute bugs are from Alota Rubberstamps - I do bugs. I've used some mesh, glossy accents (it's not glitter - only shiny!) Swirly stamp is 'Bakgrundswirl bröllup' from Magnolia. Ivy sticky ribbon from Panduro, and the papers are from MME - wild asparagus 'paisley dad'. Adornit - scary vines. Papirdesign.no - Små og store gleder.

A card for my mom :)

The challenge at the Cuttlebug-blog - Be Inspired #22 'Glitter with a stamping image ' ends today - the 16th, so hopefully I get it in before the deadline - can't see any time on there.. This is a card for my mother - she's the best, and even though mothersday (in Norway) was in february, a card to brighten her day is always welcome :) I rarely use glitter - not my favourite item, so just a little bit on here ;)
EDIT: I'm one of the 10 winners of the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot!

Stamps/Image: Penny Black - Tulip Jungle.
Paper: Bazzill.
Embellishments: I've used the Cuttlebug A2 Embossing die Divine Swirl, and Spellbinder Nestabilities - Labels One. Also QK Moxie Unicase, Ribbon from?, and misc inks. And yellow glitterglue!

Cute as a Bug!

This Hängla is one of my fave stamps - and with the bee from Magnolia this card is perfect for the 'Critters'-theme at Caardvarks :)

Stamps/Image: BeeHängla is from the hÄnglar & stÄnglar club kit - spring & summer 2008. The little bee is Magnolia's 'Bibi'.
Paper: Bazzill, DCWV - Nana's Nursery papers Baby Boy, ProvoCraft's Rob & Bob Studio - Botanica Awning Stripe.
Embellishments: The 3D stickers is from Panduros Tilda collection, and the rubons are from a norwegian shop called Nille. The pink ribbon is taken from the neck of a blouse I bought ;)

Girl Power!

Tre kort med flotte jenter på idag :) Ukens utfordring #52 på My time to craft er å lage et kort med temaet 'kvinner'. Og disse passer jo fint!
The last challenge at My time to craft #52 is themed 'Women', and I've made three cards that fit that description :) How cute is that Baby cakes?! *lol*

Stamps/Image: Stampotique - Baby Cakes (Jill Penney & Daniel Torrente).
Text-stamp is from Stempelhobby/Kin Flicks (no longer in business) 'Venn 1' by Ksenia - and it reads: 'Nothing warms more than some encouragement from a friend'.
On the black card is an unknown (to me) ladystamp.
Paper: Bazzill cardstock, Sandylion 'the wind'. Misc paperscaps, and from Prima 'Journaling Paper Squares' by Iron Orchid Designs.
Embellishments: Prima flowers, MM brads, QK diecuts, and bird-sticker from Marah Johnson. (I've used glossy accents on it and written with a zig-pen).

D is for Distressing..

This time the challenge is 'D is for Distressing' at the ABC blog. I probably use distressing in some way or other on all my projects - I like the look of softness and vintage feel. Especially, like on this card, I like to 'rub' ink (distress ink from tim holtz and/ or cats eye chalks) on any edge I find ;)

Stamps/Image: Papirloftet stempel - Jente og gris, and Ditten og Datten (?) text stamp - wich reads something like: 'lucky for me to have a friend like you'.
Paper: Bazzill cardstock, and misc paperscraps.
Embellishments: Lost Art Treasures pinwheel, Prima - Artful collage flowers, and Trés Jolie - Mon Cheri - Girl french borders (stickers).

Princess & Animal Magic!

"Dogs believe they are people - Cats believe they are God!"
Three cards today! Two for one in the challenge #49. at Cute Card Thursday, wich is 'Animal Magic'. The kittycat on the photo is my mum's cat, Kira - a fiesty she-devil with the sharpest claws, but the most beautiful eyes :)

The Princess card is for the challenge at the norwegian blog Sukkersøtt #30. where the card this time should be 'Fairytale-themed'.

Stamps/Image: Penny Black - all shook up. Pyssel Passion (the princess) - Prinsessan og Grodan. And the tiny birdie is from the Valentin Clearstamps of Scrapmagasinet. The text stamp 'Gratulerer' I think is from Kort & Godt. The other I'm not sure of..
Paper: Bazzill cardstock, and misc. scrap papers. Basic Grey - SkateShoppe 'Ollie' & 'Jasper'. And BG - Scarlet Letter 'Letters to the World'. Making Memories - Noteworthy journaling. And the cat-paper is from DCWV - The Pets Premium Paper Stack. And this one has lots of glossy print!
Embellishments: The ribbons are Craft Lover - Sticky Ribbon 'Fancy'. A little bit of hemp for the tag, wich I just cut out of some scrap paper - using an BG tag as a template! I've used a green jelly pen for the (badly) handwritten text wich reads something like 'You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince!'...

C is for Childs Card!

The theme this time at ABC challenge is C is for Childs Card. I love theese pigs! They can make anyone smile :)

Stamps/Image: Penny Black - Party Animals.
Paper: Bazzill cardstock, and ProvoCraft's Rob & Bob Studio - Botanica Awning Stripe.
Embellishments: the 3D sticker is from Panduros Tilda collection. MM Brads & American Crafts ribbon. Various Cats's Eye inkpad chalks is almost on every card I make - love the shape! The pigs actually shine a bit because I painted with H2O colors - but the glittery effect doesn't show up on the scan - imagine it ;)

This card is a perfect fit for the Stamp Something Friday: Chocolate challenge. The sweet stamp by Elisabeth Bell for Whiff Of Joy, is carrying chocolate-chip cookies - and is a dream to paint! My use of colors is all 'chocolate' as well, I can almost smell the cookies! :)

Online again! with 2 Kitten cards :)

I've finally gotten my internet connection online again - many thanks to my little brother Kevin - or not so little.. turning 24 later this month! It was boring not to have internet, but I kept busy - cleaning my apartment, sorting out stuff that's been ready for the trash sice last decade ;) *lol*

I also made lots of cards - and here are some of them!

Stamps/Image: Friendly Kritters - Sleepy kitten. And the text 'kosemose klem' is from Toves Design, the other text I'm not sure of.
Paper: Bazzill and scrap papers. Background for the stamp is created with the help of a cat's eye brown inkpad.
Embellishments: Retro flower puncher. MM brad. Prima flowers.

My younger brother Kevin shall fix this - and soon I hope! :) I'm borrowing a computer at the liberary, but can't sit for too long.
One great thing is that when I do get online, I have a dozen++ new cards to blog! :)

A vintage-looking card with a lovely old-fashioned photo-stamp from the Stampsmith. I made this after a sketch from the last challenge on the norwegian blog Sukkersött.

My Minds Eye ~ Desk-Organizer & Tin

Some of my Friends dvd's came in boxes, wich I now have no room for on my shelves - and they almost became wood for the fire.. But then came a bright idea - as almost rarely happens... *lol* To make a desk organizer to store my painted stamp-motifs in, easy to access on my desk. And a tin to have my pens and whatnots in the same style as well :)

The challenge at Arty Girlz this time around is #66 - Home Art. To make a project that can be displayed in your home. This would do I think, as it's not only useful but pretty to look at :)

I used strong double(?)glued tape to attatch the boxes together. Then I painted the tops with Li'l Davis 'Creamsicle' Scrapbook Shades. I next cut some orange n yellow cardstock and fitted to the insides of the boxes. Again with tape. I used decoupage finish on the edges to make it smooth and sealed. Also, to apply Cat's Eye Chalk on the edges I needed to first apply decoupage, or it would have come off the otherwise smooth glossy surface. I fitted some nice patterned paper to the boxes, the front I had some trouble with to fit into the cuttlebug! But it pushed through. I needed a lovely frame to add a stamp-motif on the back, peeking out :)
I also roughed up the edges with sandpaper when the decoupage coat was dry - wich only takes 10-15 minutes.
and this is the back of the finished desk-organizer-box :)When I was done, I had some leftover papers, and made this - my mum brought me this tin. And it looks lovely next to the box on my table!
Stamps/Image: Penny Black - Pink toes.
Paper: Misc cardstock. My Mind's Eye - Bohemia 'Barefoot Beautiful Butterfly/Brown', MME - Kaleidoscope 'Friends Dots/Blue Paper', and MME - Magnolia 'Sundance Celebrate Flowers/Lime.
Embellishments: Adornit ribbon, and the looped one I'm not sure of. I've used the Cuttlebug and cut out the frame with the Spellbinder Nestabilities scalloped ovals.

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

:)These are the last christmas cards this year - I think! There's lots of scrap paper leftover ;)
A joyful christmas and a happy New year to all who stop by my blog :)

I think the last card fits for the challenge at ABC challenges! Lots of underneath going on, layers upon layers: We want you to interpret underneath however you choose, it can be images/objects underneath things, or images hidden underneath tags etc. Let your imagination go wild.

Stamps/Image: The hedgehogs are from Penny Black clearstamp sets - Christmas Critters, & Critter Party. The boy 'Jubelgutt' is from Toves Design Stempler. The 'birdie' is from Scrapmagasinet - Valentine Clearstamps. Christmas text stamps is from 'Julehilsner' by Ksenia Sazonova. Except the 'God Jul' text, a Panduro Hobby stamp.
Paper: The brown papertag is from 3ndypapir 'Vinter merkelapper'. Misc Bazzill cardstock and scrap paper. Basic Grey - Blitzen 'Jack Frost', BG - Perhaps 'Elsa', BG - Skate Shoppe 'grind'. And 'Christmas snowflakes glitter paper' from K&C.
Embellishments: Prima flowers, mm and wassail brads, and misc. ribbons, and I've used the Cuttlebug and embossed with the 'Snowflakes' folder.

More christmas Cards!

CuteCard Thursday's Challenge #41. is an open theme - anything goes. So either one of theese then :)

The card below I've made for Daniel, a child in Israel that I sponsor through SOS Children's Villages.

Stamps/Image: Top card has a Rachelle A. Miller stamp - Simon & Lola. The snowman on the red card I've cut out from a Panduro sheet - Tilda Papercraft collection.
Paper: Bazzill, Basic Grey - Perhaps 'Kisa', 'Christmas snowflakes glitter paper' from K&C. And Paper Pizazz 'Ivory Sprigs'.
Embellishments: The star and xmas tree beltloops are from the new QuicKutz - Deck the Halls CookieCutter Exclusive Set. The heart is also from QK.

Brente fingre & Jubelgutt-Card!

Ouch! Burnt my left thumb and the one next to it (indexfinger?!) yesterday. But the cards keep coming anyway, even if it takes a bit longer - can't bend the long finger yet - so it gets a bit messier too :)

This weeks challenge at Cupcake Craft Ch., is 'Inspiration From Home'. Find anything in your home and be inspired by it. The colours, the design anything... And I've been inspired by all my scarfs! Colors is the key! Wearing a black jacket as I do, I can add color with my lovely warm colourful n cosy scarfs :)

Stamps/Image: The boy 'Jubelgutt' is from Toves Design Stempler. And 'birdie' from Scrapmagasinet - Valentine Clearstamps. Christmas text stamp is from 'Julehilsner' by Ksenia Sazonova. The calender is All Kinds of Happy - Snag'em Stamps Calendar.
Paper: Bazzill cardstock, BG - Perhaps 'Kisa', giftwrapping paper (the red one)
Embellishments: QK heart, MM brads.

Super Blogcandy at Creating with Crissy! A big decorated tin filled with a lot of goodies! WOW, sure would love to get this one! *sigh* so many entries... Crossing my fingers! :) This closes December 26. So go see what you must do to enter :)

Lots n' lots of Christmas Cards!

I've made loads of christmascards this week, and some were ordered! That's a first for me, to make so many cards for someone else, and it was very fun to get such positive feedback! None of the recipiants know me (I think!) so it's ok to blog them :)

The top card has a photo of my mum and my uncle - such sweethearts!

There is too many cards to get into what kind of materials have been used on wich card, so here's all in one.. Ask if any questions :)

Stamps/Image: 'birdie' and 'flying heart' Scrapmagasinet - Valentine Clearstamps, and the tag is also a stamp from Scrapmagasinet. The knitted heart is from Magnolia I think. The christmas ornament stamp is Lazar StudioWERX Inc - Funky Holidays. Christmas text stamps are from 'Julehilsner' by Ksenia Sazonova.
Paper: Misc Bazzill cardstock. The papertags are from 3ndypapir 'Vinter merkelapper'. Paper Pizazz 'Ivory Sprigs', Basic Grey - Wassail 'snow storm' and 'merry happy', BG - Blitzen 'Jack Frost', BG - Perhaps 'Kisa', BG - Dasher 'Yule Log'. And 'Christmas snowflakes glitter paper' from K&C.
Embellishments: Prima flowers, MM and BG brads, Lots of cornerpunches.. QK and other various diecuts, and I've used the cuttlebug snowflakes embossingfolder on the blue card. Cat's Eye inkpads and sandpaper has been used a lot - love the vintage feeling!
