Confirmation in Winter!

Jeg ble spurt om å lage et konfirmasjonskort for barnebarnet til en av min mors venninner, og med printet foto, favoritt hobbyer og farger, så ble det ganske så kult! Håper hun liker det ♥

I was asked to make a confirmation day card for the grand-daughter of one of my mums friends. Themed to fit the girls hobbies and favorite colors it ended up pretty awesome. Hope she loves it! ♥

It's my DT card for this fortnights challenge #218. at Creative Fingers, wich is sponsored with a sweet prize by our DT Angelique. As always it is an 'Anything goes theme', and you are more than welcome to join with your creations :) ♥

 

The inside of the card is themed to the interests of the girl receiving the card. Side view of the card with a matching envelope.

Digital images: Scrap Orchard Collab 'Snowlandia Norlandia' journalcards from Ziggle Designs and Chelle's Creations. Createwings Designs 'Feathered friends' digital kit (blue hearts) printed out.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Papirgleder letterpress white cardstock. Creotime white 15x15 card base with envelope. Panduro Hobby Designerpapers 'Bright purple rhombs. Unknown norwegian 'forget me not/konfirmasjon' paper. India cotton recycled handmade paper craft pack. Embellishments: Panduro Hobby glittertape purple and blue Washi.
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score & fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. EK Success® Paper Shapers Corner Adorner Medium Round Punch.

Stencils/Embossingfolders: Anna Griffin Cuttlebug embossinfolder 'Foundry'.
Dies: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Labels One s4161', 'Decorative Labels 1 - S4-379', 'Majestic Labels One' and 'Grand Dies Labels One'. QuicKutz (now LifeStyle crafts/WRMK) 'Storybook 4x8 Mini Alphabet'. Marianne Creatables 'Horizon Pine Trees LR0283'. Nellie Snellen 'Konfirmasjon' die.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. Gluedots. High-Tack adhesive tape  Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. 3D foam/mosegummi.

Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Ranger ink Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to distress image and papers. To heat emboss I used a Versamark inkpad and a heat gun tool. Tonic Studios Nuvo 'Classic silver' embossing powder for the confirmation text die, triple embossed! There is also silver heat embossing on the floral bunad stamp and bicycle. Ranger clear embossingpowder over the hearts and the main photo.
