Designteamet fikk bruke fritt av hva vi allerede har av motiver, og jeg har brukt et nydelig Hero Arts klubb kit jeg fikk i desember ifjor med orientalske motiver. Det minner veldig om Scheherazade, fortellersken i boka 1001 natt med favoritteventyr som Aladdin, Sinbad og AliBaba og de førti røverne! :)

The team had free choice to use any motifs we wanted on this challenge, and I have used the Hero Arts december 2017 club kit wich was arabian nights themed, and I believe one of the most beautiful kits Hero Arts have ever made ♥ My two previous blogposts is also using this kit!

I do not know if the artist intended it so, but the girl reminds me very much of Scheherazade from 1001 Nights, or Arabian Nights as it is also named. I had a version with only some of the stories (better suited for young children I assume) and I especially loved the stories about Aladdin, AliBaba & Sinbad.

Stamps/Images: Hero Arts MMH December 2017 Kit stamps & co-ordinating dies. Lili of the Valley 'LOTV Quotables Friendship CS set 62'. Queen Kat Stamps - Miss Megs 'Pen heart'. Simply Cards & Papercraft #126. 'a Taste of India' by Sheena Douglass.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Prima marketing inc. 6x6 paper stacks 'Fairy Flora', 'Melody' & 'Reflections'. Best Creation inc. glitter gold cardstock.

Embellishments: Gemstone sticker from the kit. Nøstebua gold thread. 
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams.
Dies: Fancy Window die from the Hero Arts kit. Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Curved Rectangles S5006' & 'Petite Ovals Large'. Creative Dies Nesting Die Set 'Ornate Frames'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Double sided tape. High-Tack Double Sided Red Tape (Red Liner/Stix2/Miracle tape). Rangers Glossy accents, stickles.

Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Inks from the Hero Arts kit. Hero Arts misc. inkcubes & unicorn white ink.
