Som alltid har vi et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema, og velkommen skal du være :)
... Jeg har forresten en 'X-mas Surprise BlogCandy' med veldig masse flott scrappestæsj som du kan prøve å vinne :)
I have kept my DT card in warm rustic colors to go with the masculine theme of father's day (wich is in november here in Norway) using the fabulous digital paper kit 'Fairy Mail - Vintage' from We Are 3 ♥
It's awesome to have such kits in your stash if you're like me and just hoard great designer papers because u can't bare to 'use them up'... You can print theese out over and over again, on any type of paper that fits in your printer, and in the exact size you need! :)
As always we have an 'Anything goes theme', and you are more than welcome to join with your creations! ♥
The cool Rust Embossing on the Tim Holtz heart die is a custom Rust mix recipe with embossing powder and technique by Rangers Wendy Vecchi, that I have tried to replicate.
..But I didn't have the exact fine detail gold that she had, and it didn't look quite right to me..
Good enough, yes, and very fun to do! But it wasn't as fabulous grungy and rusty as Wendy's, wich ofcourse was what I aimed for! Also, I must admit that I am just lousy at understanding how to convert measurements.. so there might be a hiccup there ;)
So If anyone has a better recipe with european measurements than my attempt here, please do let me know in the comments! :)
You can find the actual (and far better) recipe here on her blog: Studio 490 Wendy Vecchis Rust Recipies with embossing powders and inkpads! ♥
... And btw. did you know I have a 'X-mas Surprise BlogCandy' going on right now? Have a go and you could win some awesome goodies!

Hey to you! :) I wanted to say that I love this vintage card you made. I think that die cut heart is a perfect finishing touch! And the papers are nice too. I agree that digi papers are great because you can use them over and over again and never run out of them, but I still prefer store bought papers - mainly because my printer is almost always out of (colour) ink cartrige and I'm "afraid" I wouldn't be able to print the papers when I need them anyways, but also because I think my printer wouldn't print the paper designs as nicely as the patterns on the store-bought papers are.
