Don't let the rain dull your sparkle! ✨

DT inspirasjons bidrag hos Creative Fingers #230. Vår DT Angelique er sponsor denne gang med en kjempeflott premie, og som alltid har vi et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema. Velkommen skal du være!

the text inside of this card says;
'You have a special place in my heart' + 'Hugs'

I have had a longlasting migraine so no crafting for me this week unfortunately.. but feeling quite well at the moment thanks to my meds, just a bit dizzy lol 😵 Luckily still had some un-blogged cards from a cybercrop event late march! Theese are two very quick and easy to make cards, one-layered, wich is very unusual for me. Thinking I should make more like theese, for sure! 😊
They're both my DT inspiration for this fortnights challenge #230. at Creative Fingers. Our DT Angelique is sponsoring with an awesome prize. As always, theme is anything goes. You are more than welcome to join with your creations
💗

the back of the cards

Stamps/Images: Visible Image 'Sparkle in the Rain' (old version), 'Stay Weird', 'Bloom and Grow (love), and 'Face it VIS-FIT-01' CS. Kort og Godt 'M-249' CS.
Papers: Creotime cardstock, white cardbase. Plain white cardstock. Panduro Hobby Designerpapers 'Garden Vintage' 12x12 paperpack.
Embellishments: Washitape in yellow glitter from Panduro, as well as pretty gems/stickers - some from Nille.
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score & fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: Selfmade a stencil from the circle dies and thick packaging plastic. Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz mini stencil 'set 6' (sweetheart).
Dies: Crafts Too Presscut 'Circle Nesting Dies PCD46'. Lawn Fawn '#LF1299 valentine border dies'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder.
High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue.

Techniques/Mediums: I used the circle stencil I made and inkblended  Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink pads 'Salvaged patina', 'Mermaid lagoon' and 'Broken China' for the blue card. Sakura gellyroll gold glitter pen doodling the sparkles. To distress papers on the bird card I used 'Vintage photo' distress ink on the edges. The 'Sweetheart' text was first done with Prima Marketing inc. Art Alchemy by Finnabair 'Rusty red' matte wax
, but it didn't dry! It was too thick through the stencil, so had to just scrape it off, but luckily it didn't ruin the card, just a bit different look than I wanted.

  1. Sorry for your migraine, Hilde. Both your one layer cards are gorgeous, and love the Sweetheart text, it has a unusual but very effective feel!
