Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Plain white cardstock. The clock is a cutout from Prima Marketing inc. 'Almanac collection' A4 Paperstack DCWV 12x12 'Sweet Chocolate Frosting GLTR' Designerpaper.
Embellishments: ...
Tools: I always use my Scor-Pal to score & fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams.
Stencils/Embossingfolders: Prima Marketing inc. Finnabair 'Swirly florals' stencil.
Dies: Mama Elephant Creative Cuts 'Slim Card Basics'. Lawn Fawn Cuts 'Fancy Wavy Banners', 'Large Slimline with Sliders' & the ♥ is from 'I Scream You Scream'. Die-Versions 'A Hint Of Lime DVF-3x3-083' alphabet die. Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Labels 18'.
Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. High-Tack adhesive tape Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. Ranger ink Glossy accents on details.
Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Mica Watercolors paints, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads (regular & oxides) and markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. I had printed out the owl on plain copy paper also, fussycut and used that as a mask when stenciling the background around the owl. The alphabet diecuts are cut out from a piece of cardstock with Viva Decor Inka Gold wax 'Gold' heavily watercolored on, and backed with sookwang sticky tape before diecutting.
Lovely artwork. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us. Please stop by again soon, and have a great week.

ReplyDeleteFabulous card! I love the owl that you created against the swirly florals stenciled backdrop - gorgeous 😀. Thanks so much for joining us at Country View Challenges! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWhat a head-turningly awesome design. So cool, creative, and downright beautiful. Owls are a perpetual favourite of mine. We're blessed to have a few that often spend time in the tall evergreens of our backyard. To date I've only (briefly) spotted one on two separate occasions, but we hear and delight in their telltale hoots often. They're a perpetual source of happiness and inspiration to me - very much including on the paper crafting front.
