Confirmation card ~ Birds in my hair

 

Konfirmasjonskortet mitt her er et jeg lagde for en tid tilbake, men aldri vist frem på bloggen. Vært avglemt i en mappe på laptopen, og det er jo synd for jeg var jo kjempefornøyd med det og det fortjener å bli vist frem ♥ Har sladdet noe av teksten inni for jeg tok bildet først etter at jeg hadde skrevet en hilsen til konfirmanten :)

Siden formen min ikke er noe særlig, ryggen min er kjempevond og føler ikke for å sitte på scrapperommet... så blir dette kortet mitt DT bidrag hos Creative Fingers #207. denne gang! Angelique har sponset utfordringen med en flott premie! Dermed har vi hatt fritt frem med kreasjonene. Som alltid har vi et 'Lag-hva-du-vil' tema, og velkommen skal du være!

I made this confirmation easel card a good while back, but it's never been shown online as it was forgotten in a folder on my laptop. Thought I'd show it off now as I'm in no shape to be crafting at the moment... my back is such a pain in the ass.. (no pun intended lol) and also its one I was very happy with how it it turned out, and it would be a shame to never show it :)

So it's my inspirational DT card for this fortnights challenge #207. at Creative Fingers, wich is sponsored with a fab prize from our Angelique. As always it is an 'Anything goes theme', and you are more than welcome to join with your creations ♥

I have censored the places where I already had written a greeting before taking the photos. The stamped inside text says 'Big Hugs & Congratulations on your day', and there is a pocket at the top to hold money or a giftcard....

Stamps/Images: A Day for Daisies digistamp (from Birds In My Hair past release kit) 'Braid In My Hair'. Kort & Godt CS 'M-272 Carpe Diem' & 'M249'. Norsk Stempelblad Ett trykk 'CS Rammer'.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs. Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Panduro Hobby silver glitter cardstock and pink confirmation text cardstock. And misc paper scraps.
Embellishments: Ribbon from Kort & Godt 'Konfirmant'. Misc. Panduro Stickers & Washitapes. Butterfly unknown but probably from Nille.
Tools: My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'.

Essentials/Adhesives: Bonefolder. Gluedots. High-Tack adhesive tape  Sookwang Scor-Pal tape &/or Red tape. 3D foam/mosegummi. Rangers Glossy accents. Tonic Studios Nuvo drops.

Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. And I also used a Core'dinations sand-it gadget (sandpaper tool) on the designerpaper edges to get the white core to show.
