Butterfly fairy 🦋

My DT creation for challenge #168. at Creative Fingers is a gorgeous butterfly fairy coloringpage, wich I printed in about A5 size & watercolored with Distress inks & Twinkeling H2O's. The motif is from our fab sponsor Christine Karron ♥
As always it is an 'Anything goes theme', and you are more than welcome to join with your creations :)

I'm going to color another CK fairy for the reminder blogpost ~ this challenge will last longer than usual since its summer holidays, and I'm thinking that I might add them to an artjournal spread later on.. we'll see. Don't really want to crop it and put on a card, keeping it for myself after all that work I put into it! lol ;)

I still have an awesome blogcandy to give away! Lots of stamps added to it, and other neat crafty stuff :) Check it out here!

Stamps/Images: Christine Karron 'Butterfly Fairy' printable digistamp/coloringpage.
Papers: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed) for my motifs.

Techniques/Mediums:  I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Ranger Ink Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor the image.

Almost ruined it! Still not too happy with her hair, kind of lost the definition of the dreads because of too dark watercolors.. then I splattered dirty water all over it! Jikes! Was able to fix it though, only spot I could remove was on her cheek, so now she's got a beauty mark :)
