The very hungry caterpillar

😎 Happy Summer! ⛅

I absolutely LOVE this cute little caterpillar from Goebie, it reminds me of the childrensbook 'The very hungry caterpillar' wich I read SO many times when I learnt how to read,  and then later I read it to my younger brothers ♥ (see the Animated video of the book on youtube)

My DT inspiration card is a couple days late as I've been having a lot of aches n pains lately.. Especially in my hands, wich are all chapped and sore, and I haven't been able to craft or much of anything.. :( I'm taking light therapy for the psoriasis on my hands at the hospital, but that's two hours drive back n forth, wich only worsens my muscle n backpains.  Hopefully I won't have to do as many treatments as last year before I see results. Would love to be able to spend more time in the craftroom this summer :)

Creative Fingers generous sponsor for challenge #148. is Goebie Design, and as always it is an 'Anything goes theme', and you are more than welcome to join with your creations ♥

I made some fun marbled backgrounds a while back, and thought the green one was a perfect match for my little caterpillar! I had added nailpolish (cheap ones) to a tub of water, swirled it with a toothpick and quickly add the pattern to the paper. I find placing the paper on top of the water rather than letting it pass down through the surface to the length of the tub / submerging it is a better way to get a good pattern. The red one was with submerging it, so next I just carefully layed it on the water and picked it up without getting it under the surface. I do reccomend working outside or with windows open, cause nailpolish really stinks! And I also let them dry off for many hours, and then days to get rid of the smell.. You can find heaps of tutorials on youtube for Nail Polish Marble arts.

And before you leave, have you checked out my awesome Blogcandy yet? :)
