Mermaid Fun & Yummy Blogcandy Winner!

A couple of weekends ago I got my first Hero Arts Monthly kit! Yey Mermaids!  It could not be any more perfect as two of my nieces, and myself also absolutely LOVE everything mermaid related ♥ 
At the same time I received a parcel from Magnolia in Sweden, with some of the old hard-to-find rubbers. Really happy to get the swirly one, which I needed to replace the one I had wich was getting brittle and worn out after about ten years of beeing well used! 
So with my youngest niece visiting that weekend, we got to play with the lovely stamps and make a fantastic mermaid-birthday card for her mommy  ♥
Fun times :)

Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers, as well as the new Oxide inkpads for the splatter/smoosh background on the tag.

Alien invasion?

Hvis du kjenner meg eller følger bloggen min så vet du at jeg elsker sci-fi ♥ Dette er absolutt ikke mitt første alien kort, og definitivt ikke det siste, de er så moro å lage! :) Hadde masse galakse-akvarellbiter liggende fra et tidligere kort ~ Greetings Earthling ~ og selve hovedfiguren var ferdig-fargelagt fra Wink Wink Ink, så dette gikk kjapt å lage. Har tilogmed enda flere galakse fargede biter igjen så det blir nok snart enda et alien kort!

If you know me and read my blog, u know that I LOVE sci-fi ♥ And this is not my first alien card, they are sooo fun to make! And it is very fun to make galaxies, actually this background is just a scrap watercolor leftover from a previous alien card ~ Greetings Earthling ~ and was super quick to do as the alien figure from Wink Wink Ink was pre-colored. I still got some fun circles left for another futuristic card too :)

Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use as well ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress images and papers. White acrylic paint watered down a bit to do the splatter stars effect.

Unique Friend cards

Sånn først og fremst sender jeg en stor unnskyldning til alle jeg har neglisjert, både online venner og 'real-life' venner ♥ Har levd litt i min egen boble, mye plaget med smerter, dårlig helse, og en litt for stor del av familie tragedier... Har blitt litt mye i det siste, og siden jeg alltid har trivdes best på egen hånd og pusle med mine ting, så kan jeg lett bli litt anti-sosial *hehe* Tror faktisk at uten bloggen og fb så hadde jeg blitt en huleboer ~ hvis hulen hadde innlagt vann og tv og internett.. og scrapperom vel og merke ;)  Skal prøve å være mere sosial ~ men om jeg er litt fraværende, så vet du litt hvorfor ♥

Det går mot vår (selv om folk sørpå påstår at den allerede er kommet, så er vi ikke helt overbevist her nord) og Papirplanetens utfordring #17., er for Mai mnd. og har som tema ~ Bli inspirert av sangen "Kom Mai du skjønne milde" og / eller bruk fargene Rødt, Hvitt og Blått. First of all, so sorry for not beeing around online, or beeing much present in 'real life' really :P My health is an on-going struggle each n' every day, with some ups and downs, and I have kind of been a recluse for the longest time (wich suits me just fine, but it's often frowned upon beein so anti-social *lol*), so I will try to be more present in the future! :) 
On top of dealing with health issues, we have also had alot to deal with within my family lately ~ many tragic events.. so I have not been keepin' up with commenting for quite some time. I appreciate all the visits on my blog though, and hope to be able to visit you all back sometime! ♥

My two cards today has a spring feeling, but it is still cold up here in the northern parts of Norway, it even snowed yesterday! :) Theese are my DT inspiration for PapirPlaneten, a norwegian challengeblog and craft shoppe, and the theme for May is either to use Red, White & Blue (colors of our flag, and this month we have our constitution Day on May 17th.) or to be inspired by the norwegian song "Kom Mai du skjønne milde" ~ about longing for the spring to come :)
