Hello Otto Sweetie ♥ Doctor Who Tag

Har hentet inspirasjon fra Viva Las Vegas Stamps sin April utfordring for min Doctor Who tag, som du ser litt lengre ned i bloggposten, og lekt meg med noen av mine nye VLVS stempler! Brian Kesinger lager to fantastiske karakterer 'Otto & Victoria' som jo kan minne om en victoriansk timelord ledsager og en kjempesøt vennlig Dalek ;) 

Fikk en kjempeoverraskelse her om dagen! Ble tipset om at jeg måtte ta meg en tur inn på Nordsaltens Hobbyklubb sin blogg, hvor jeg fant ut at søte Maria (aka BlackLissi) har fremsnakket meg og mine kreasjoner! Both sides of the tag

The Otto & Victoria stamps by Brian Kesinger are simply fantastic! And kind of resembles a friendly sweet little Dalek and a pretty victorian timelord companion ♥ I'm sure I have to get all VLVS rubberstamps with his art eventually :) Take a look at his amazing artwork here on DeviantArt and his etsyshoppe here.

When I first saw the VLVS inspiration pic (see below in the challenges), I thought immediately of using the tag I did when swatching my new oxides ~ I'm finding they are perfect for cloudy n chalky sky backgrounds, and there was just enough blues n green inks on it to fit the challenge. 
For the whimsical girl element I used my newest VLVS stamps, as u can see in the scrap-haul-photo in this post. I am a whovian (big fan of Doctor Who) so I ofcourse thought blue = tardis blue!

Stamps/Images: Viva Las Vegas RubberStamps 'Sepiatone Suntan Ad' (Otto By the Sea) by Brian Kesinger ~ also on the 'plate 909' which also has the tardis stamp! VLVS 'Blue Police Box by Susan M Brown'. I've also used several stamps from the VLVS 'Plate 1455', and 'Hello Sweetie' from 'Plate 925' wich is full of Doctor WHO images! And the VLVS 'London Skyline'.

Papers: Panduro Hobby Manila tag. For watercoloring images I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed).

Embellishments/Tools: Basic Grey 'Black tie' ribbon fibers.
Techniques:  My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads + Oxide ink pads & the Distress markers to watercolor and distress image and papers.
