Made a christmas card with an all new technique for me ~ miracle tape with embossing powder. Very fun, it sort of looks like crackled paint! I have altered an old plain and flat card, and given it new life with this cute Little Christmas Girl from All Dressed Up ♥ The motive with the wreath was too good to cover up, so instead I framed it better with the embossing, sweet embellishes, diecuts and sparklies! :)
● The Pink Elephant #TPE283. ~ Anything Goes! [Feb.4th.]
● Sister Act #91. ~ Anything Goes [Feb.5th.]
● Hiding in My Craft Room #185. ~ Freestyle/Anything Goes! [Feb.7th.]
● Crafty Gals Corner #185. ~ Try Something New = Miracle tape! [Feb.3rd.]
Techniques: I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use! ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to watercolor and distress image and papers. Added some extra dimension with 3D foam. White paint, Glossy accents (which also works as an excellent glue for the dewdrops) and 'frosted lace' stickles, also by Ranger. Card edges have been distressed with sandpaper, and distressinks ofcourse!
Lovely card, it has a vintage Christmas feel with the colours and background wreath. Thanks for adding this to our challenge this week at Crafty Gals Corner xxx
