Dies: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities 'Label One'. Lawn Fawn 'Lift the Flap' die.
Essentials/Adhesives: Scor-Pal Sookwang Double sided tape. High-Tack Double Sided Red Tape (Red Liner/Stix2/Miracle tape). Rangers Glossy accents. Signo pigment white ink pen. Staedtler black pigment marker.
Techniques/Mediums: I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors and Tim Holtz Distress Ink markers to watercolor the image, also Distress Oxide 'Vintage photo' inkpad to distress papers. I used Rangers Perfect Medium inkpad (similar to versamark) on the striped splatter stamp, and Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer Mica powder 'Old Gold'. BIG TIP: DO NOT open theese jars the wrong way! I spent half an hour just cleaning up .. not an easy task with microfine glimmer particles!!!
Som mitt DT bidrag hos Creative Fingers #174., har jeg lagd en mixed media side i min art journal, noe som er en sjelden begivenhet! De
gangene jeg lager noe i min art journal, er det som oftest pga. helt
spesielle ting, designerark, malte motiver og pynt ~ ting jeg ikke får til å bruke ellers, og heller uansett vil beholde
selv..
Har nok vært influert av halloween og det at jeg så på 'the Labyrinth' (for ørtende gang ~ elsker den!) når jeg så for meg temaet her...
Hovedmotivet fikk jeg for en god stund siden som en freebie i Michelle Traceys nyhetsbrev, og da hun skulle være sponsor for denne utfordringen tenkte jeg med en gang på å bruke denne nydelige 'Crow Totem' jenta.

I think this theme came to me since it was Halloween and having watched 'the Labyrinth' for the umpteenth time.. absolutely LOVE that movie ♥
Made this mixed media art journal page as my DT creation for challenge #174. at Creative Fingers. I rarely make art journal pages, but when I do it is usually because I got a painted motif and/or papers that I don't want to part with, just wanting to keep them for my self ;)
This motif was a freebie I got in a newsletter email many months ago from Michelle Tracey, and when she was going to sponsor this challenge I knew I wanted to use the gorgeous 'Crow Totem' girl ♥

Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads 'Black soot', 'Hickory smoke', 'Vintage photo' & 'Tattered rose'. Viva Decor Inka Gold waxes 'Steel Blue' & 'Platinum'. Winsor & Newton white calligraphy ink. Staedtler pigment liner 0.1 black.
I actually 'ruined' my first go at this image (as u may tell by the emoji!).. coloring black crows and black hair is never easy! Lost most of the lineart and messing up the background and loosing the pretty border.. but I'm happy with the end result now! Re-drawing up some of the lines and even gave her an arm tattoo :)
Den 5 oktober i år var 'World Cardmaking Day' og jeg lagde to kort til en utfordring på en facebook cyber crop som TPC Magazine holdt. Artikkelen med Galleri og Top3 finner du her. Utrolig mange flotte kreasjoner!
Det var tre utfordringer, men jeg fikk bare gjort en av dem ~ Moodboard. Jeg har hatt flere Katzelcraft og Visible Image stempelsett ganske lenge uten å bruke dem, og siden jeg har lovt meg selv å bruke mest mulig av sånne 'avglemte' stempler, ble det to morsomme mixed media kattekort fra meg ~ med et kjempe-kjempe-gammelt Stampotique stol stempel som passet helt purrrfekt til kattepusene! :)

October 5th. was the 'Worlds Cardmaking Day' and I participated in the Cyber Crop event that the scandinavian TPC Magazine held on Facebook. There were so many awesome creations and the gallery and top3 can be found here.
They had three challenges and I wish I would have been able to do all of them, but I chose one that really was so much fun to do as I was inspired to use some mixed media! And also I got a chance to play with some supercute Katzelcraft & Visible Image stamps I've had for a while now and not used. As I've recently decided to use more of my forgotten and unused stamps and stash, I made two cute cat cards ~ with a really old Stampotique chair stamp that was a PURRFECT fit for my cats! :)

I'm late again with my blogpost, migraine for three days has made it a struggle to be creative, when all I really want is a dark room and no brain input.. Luckily I have a good medication that works ~ only for a few hours though ~ so I was able to make this christmas card in very untraditional pink & brown colors 😊
