Jeg har alltid vært stor fan av Whiff of Joy sine stempler, og dette er et av mine absolutt favorittmotiver ♥ De har desverre sluttet og selge og produsere stempler, men mange butikker fører dem enda! Happy New Years & Best wishes to all for 2016 :) I am showcasing a card today as a new DT for the norwegian shop PapirPlanetens challenge blog. So happy to be a part of this team of awesome ladies! ♥ See our new DT's introduction post here if you can read norwegian :) 

Our January challenge is Blue & White as the dominant colors. My main  motif is a Whiff of Joy stamp named 'Charlotte is riding Rudolf', and I must say it is one of my absolute faves for christmas cards ♥

Stamps/Images: Whiff of Joy 'Charlotte is riding Rudolf'. North Star Stamps 'Juletekster'. Scrappers Choice 'Julekule'. Lazar StudioWERX Inc rubberstamp 'Funky Holidays' (swirl). Panduro Hobby CS set 'God Jul'.

Papers: Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. Panduro Hobby Paper pad 'Winter'.

Embellishments/Tools: Spellbinders Frameabilities 'Polka Dot Frame S5016' & Nestabilities 'Labels One s4161'. Martha Stewart 'Flourish Edge Punch'. Transparent 'Raindrops' beads.
Techniques: I have heat embossed the white swirls and christmas text on the front of the card with Top Boss embossing powder 'White' & 'Deep Green'. I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use! ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. StazOn inkpad 'Olive green'. Ranger Glossy accents & Dina Wakley Medium White Gesso. Stickles Glitter Glue 'Frosted Lace' & 'Mustard seed'.

X-MAS BLOG CANDY!

Ho-Ho-Ho! Has everyone gotten in mood for christmas yet? :) 
I suddenly discovered that my last blogpost actually was #400! And that should not go un-noticed I think, even if I just have dished out one Big Opening-up-my-new-etsyshoppe-and-7th.-Blogaversary-candy, and one smaller Bloghop-giveaway, I want to share some x-mas love this month! ♥ 

And as it happens, I'm often very ditsy when it comes to buying stuff I already have bought.. anyone else? ;)

Hell i uhell! Jeg skulle egentlig kutte en sirkel i plast for å ha bak rammen, for å lage et shaker kort. Men plasten var for tykk, og diesen lagde isteden en kjempestilig 3D effekt, der den innerste sirkelen 'bulet' ut .. ble jo veldig bra! :)

Some of the team has made creations with stamps they already had from the sponsor, but I didn't have any, so my projects main motif is from norwegian stamp company Kort & Godt. Absolutely fab clear n rubber stamps! ♥

For my card I started out intending to cut out a circle window and a frame at the same time out of plastic (recycled die packaging). But the plastic was too thick to cut through, instead it made an awesome 3D effect where the inner circle popped up! So now u know, thick plastic + two nesting circle dies = they make a pop-up window when they don't cut, perfect for itty bitty sequins :) 

I've also used the most effective easel stand-up-helpers die from Elizabeth Crafts, an absolute must have! Watch the youtube video where Els Van Der Burgt from Elizabeth Craft Designs explains how to use the dies!

Hysterisk morsomt motiv på kortet mitt denne gangen! Har forsøkt meg på et litt 'clean & simple', men ser det blir med forsøket... det blir alltid litt 'for mye' hehe.. Rick St. Dennis er kunsteren bak dette monstret! Syns han ville passe til et julekort siden vi vel alle føler oss litt sånn i disse tider.. og teksten inni ~ vel vi har alle én sånn en i familien? ;)
