Imagine.. Alien Love Monsters!

..We come in Peace.. / ..Vi kommer i fred..

Hehe! Det Måtte bare bli et sci-fi kort med dette motivet! Hadde med meg favoritt kruset mitt inn på scrapperommet for å få inspirasjon til fargeleggingen. En tidligere brevvenninne fra Riga i Latvia sendte meg det over 15 år siden ♥ Hadde faktisk over femti brevvenner en stund.. men så begyndte jeg med scrapbooking og ble hekta på kortlaging, så ble det dessverre ikke tid til brev lengre... dessuten var det så lite å skrive om etter jeg ble ufør ;)
Noen av diecuts'ene og det ene monstret blir et senere prosjekt.

My DT card for this fortnights challenge #112. at Creative Fingers is full of alien monsters! As always it is an 'Anything goes' and you are more than welcome to join with your creations.
I luv all things sci-fi and just one look at this fun image from our fab sponsor, Bugaboo stamps ~ I saw cute little aliens! :)

If you take a look above in my scraproom pic, u will see my fave mug from an old penpal (a girl in Riga, Latvia), which inspired the bright colors. It's actually more than 15 yrs old, the mug! Once I had 50+ penpals, but the crafting took completely over as my main hobby ♥ ♥ ♥

Had a few leftover monster and aliens I didn't end up using, so there will be a similar themed project soon I think!

It is my most used one at the moment. Don't know how I managed before this awesome set of 24x dies! The largest of the dies I can't fit through my BigShot, but there are 20+ that does! I've used the dies on theese cards, and u can get it from the GlitterPot and lots other shops :)

Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use! ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to watercolor and distress image and papers. Glossy Accents. Wink of Stella 'clear'.

WeddingCard & my new MISTI!

Papirplanetens Juni utfordring #7. har Bryllup som tema. Motiv og tekst stemplene jeg har brukt på mitt staffelikort er fra Kort og Godt sine flotte stempelsett, som du kan finne her hos Papirplaneten :) Vi håper du blir inspirert til å delta! 

Jeg fylte 40 år i april og brukte en masse penger på meg selv ;) Så jeg har nylig fått flere store scrappestæsj pakker i posten, og endelig har jeg en MISTI! Har ønsket meg en kjempelenge etter å sett så mange videoer på youtube, som denne fra Jennifer McGuire ♥ og den er helt utrolig! Ville aldri fått til et så helt sort stempeltrykk av brudeparet uten den, måtte nemlig stemple tre-fire ganger, og den stemplet nøyaktig på samme plass hver gang! Kjempedyr, men vel verdt det :)

I am super happy about my latest scrapping stash purchases (turned 40 in april so I went on a huge shopping spree ~ all just for me!), and especially my new MISTI stamp tool. Let me tell u ~ AMAZING! :)
I have been wanting this for a long time, ever since watching Jennifer McGuire demonstrate it, and many others since. This here youtube shows the altenew blooms & the MISTI tool working in perfect harmony!

My easelcard today is DT inspiration for PapirPlaneten, an all norwegian challengeblog and craft shoppe. The June theme is Wedding ♥
I sure would never have gotten such a crisp black stamped image of the bride & groom couple if not for the MISTI ability to stamp several times on the excact same spot. Expensive yes, worth it OH YES!

Cannot wait to try out all my other new goodies too ♥ Here are some of them!

By the way .. I have some yummies for u as well! Have you seen the Blogcandy I have going on? Techniques: I have used my new MISTI stamping tool from My Sweet Petunia. And I always use my Scor-Pal when I score n fold my cards. I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). This is a rare occasion! As I have not used any Distress inks on this card, instead I have used Versafine 'Onyx black' inkpad, and Prima chalk inks from Ingvild Bolme, 'white' & 'old road'. The heart is heatembossed with Hero Arts clear emb.powder. Ranger ink Stickles 'Black diamond' glitter glue.
